A Man for Annalee By Vonnie Davis

I loved western romances and A Man for Annalee sounded like a great read from the beginning. There is romance, drama, and laughter all the way through this book. You can't go wrong when you combine some of my very favorite things in a book.

Annalee is a strong willed, feisty, independent woman who is fully capable of taking care of herself. I loved how Annalee handled so many situations in this book. This is a woman that you would want on your side if you were in trouble. She can kick butt and tell a person off in no time flat.

Annalee has a lot to deal with, she lost her parents, her home, and her business in Chicago fire. When she arrives in  Cicero Creek she learns that her Grandfather has been killed. This girl has lost so much that she really needs something great to happen in her life. She starts to make friends and she meets the marshal.

Boone Hartwell is the handsome marshal that Annalee keeps tangling with. This handsome fellow finds himself on the receiving end of Annalee's lashings a few times. The more these two tangle the more they find themselves falling for each other. Watching these two falling in love is so wonderful. Boone has issues from his past too. He lost his family at a young age so these two have a lot in common.

Boone is afraid who ever killed Annalee's grandfather is after her when strange accidents start happening. He is determined he is going to protect her.

Annalee's lashing are so good and fun to read. Vonnie Davis has done a great job of writing a touching, drama, laughter filled book. I know I will be looking for more of her work to read.

This is part of the Bullets & Boots Series. If the rest are as good as this one I can't wait to read more!
