#Review ~ Cowboy Up by Harper Sloan ~ @harpersloan

Cowboy Up is the third book in The Coming Home Series by Harper Sloan. I have enjoyed each book so much. Harper Sloan has a lovely writing voice and has created storylines and characters that made it almost impossible to set this book down.

Caroline Michaels has not had a easy life. Her family is the perfect example of how NOT to be. I admired this lady for being able to go on and get on with her life. She has created her own family with her best friends. They are there for her no matter what.

Clayton Davis the head of his family. He takes his responsibilities seriously. He's a great brother, brother-in-law and soon to be Uncle. Clay is one of those guys that it is possible to not fall for. He's sweet, loves his family, his protective of those he loves, and he is just overall one of the good guys.

I loved how Caroline and Clay met for the first time. There is incredible passion between these two and an attraction that is smoldering hot all the time. As much as I enjoyed their first meeting it was interesting to watch them meet for the second time. These two are good for each other and they just might be what exactly what they both need to heal from the past and to go forward with the future.

There is some mystery, drama, and suspense included in this incredible story. I won't tell you too much about it because you are going to want to read it for yourself. This book totaly had me sitting on the edge of my seat a few times flipping the pages just as quickly as I could to see who did what.

I loved how Clayton's family instantly takes Caroline into the family. The ladies knew each other in high school so it was fun watching them get to know each other again.

There are some incredibly sweet moments in this book. I don't want to tell you too much because I want you to enjoy those awe adorable moments for yourself.

This whole series has been awesome. I have enjoyed each book immensely. Ms. Sloan has done a great job of making each one able to stand on its own. Each one is an incredible story so you may want to grab more than one.

I was given the opportunity to read this fantabulous book and it has been my pleasure to share my thoughts with you.

#Review #giveaway ~ Kiss My Boots by Harper Sloan ~ @harpersloan

KISS MY BOOTS is the second book in The Coming Home Series by Harper Sloan. I have had the chance to read both books so far and and I'm hooked. Harper Sloan has done a fabulous job with a this great second chance story. First of all I love the title, Kiss My Boots. The characters are great, the story is compelling and had my attention from the very beginning to the very end, and left me inpatient for the next book in the series.

Quinn Davis is one of those ladies that I could easily see being a dear friend. This lady is sweet, kind, caring, and has just the perfect amount of sass mixed in. She's been hurt by love in the past and just doesn't have time in her life to find love. She's been on dates but nothing has just been "right" for her.

Tate Montgomery is a kind and caring man that just happens to handsome as all get out and a successful doctor. He's also the man that broke Quinn's heart when they were younger. He's back in town, living in his grandparents home, and ready to do what ever it takes to get that second chance with Quinn.

I enjoyed watching Quinn and Tate to get to know each other again. They have both changed a bit with age, the one thing that hasn't changed is that sizzling attraction. It's still just as strong as when they last seen each other. The hurt and misunderstandings adds friction into the mix. When you add that all together with a heaping helping of passion things get hot. There are some hot and steamy scenes so you may want to grab that cold drink before you start reading.

I love stories that include the family. Quinn's older brothers are they for Quinn. They are close knit family that always has each other's back. Leighton is Quinn's best friend and also her soon to be sister-in-law. I loved the girls night out on the town that includes the guys too. Leighton shares just a little bit more than Quinn wants to know about her brother. These scenes had me laughing out loud.

Kiss My Boots is one of those stories that there is more than meets the eye to the past. I don't want to tell you too much but I will say that Quinn and Tate have a lot to get through if they are going to attempt to find their happily ever after.

Harper Sloan has a wonderful writing voice. She certainly captured my attention with characters that are charismatic and charming. Both books in this series have had a unique story line with interesting twists and turns. The story is entertaining that had me laughing at points and at other I was tearing up.

I was given the opportunity to read this incredibly story and it has been my great pleasure to share my thoughts with you.

About the book:

Kiss My Boots (The Coming Home Series Book 2) by [Sloan, Harper]Hang on to your Stetsons this summer, because you’re in for one wild ride! Get lost in the second installment of New York Times bestselling author Harper Sloan’s Coming Home series, KISS MY BOOTS. In the second installment, the wildest Davis of them all is looking for love…maybe.

Quinn Davis prefers to live her life quietly. She’s the stereotypical tomboy with two overprotective big brothers who have always looked out for her. Of course, it doesn’t help that her heart has already been hardened when it comes to devilishly handsome cowboys with silver tongues. That is, until Tate Montgomery comes riding back into town. Their first meeting, however, is far from something out of a fairy tale and only further convinces Quinn that men aren’t worth her time.

Growing up, the one time Tate ever truly felt at home was during the long, sweltering summer months he spent at his gram and paw’s farm in Pine Oak, Texas. Now, Tate has returned to his childhood sanctuary seeking a fresh start—but if he’s being entirely honest, he’s not just back for the Wranglers and Stetsons. During those summers, Quinn was a friend turned young love who Tate lost when life threw him a curveball and he cut all ties to his past, but all it takes is one glance at the raven-haired beauty, who he did his best to forget, for him to realize just how much he’s been missing…

Can two people who have stopped believing in love take a chance to find it in each other again? Or will the pain of the past prove too great a hurdle to conquer?

KISS MY BOOTS is the second go-round in this Texas-set series filled with sizzle, heart, and plenty of cowboys!
