True Blend by Joanne DeMaio ~ Review

I have now had the pleasure of 4 books by the very talented Joanne DeMaio. I have to say after each book I read of Ms. DeMaio I say this one was my favorite. True Blend is one of those books that caught my attention from page one and would not let go until I finished the book. I was still in awe of the fabulous story after I finished the book.

Amy Trewist has been through a lot in the past year. After the loss of her husband she and her daughter have grown even closer if that is possible. They are very much trying to hold each other together. When a beautiful day turns tragic Amy has to figure out how to cope with life again. Her baby daughter Grace has to deal with the traumatic event of being kidnapped and Amy has to deal with the life feeling so incredibly unsafe she doesn't really know how to cope. When George Carbone comes into their life, Amy feels safe with George. George takes it upon himself to try to protect these two women he has come to love. However  there is a MAJOR secret that could rip their world apart and it is lurking around every corner.

I could go on and on about this story and the plot line but it's such a wonderful story that I really don't want to ruin it for you. I will tell you there is a LOT of drama and mystery involved in this story. I had a horrible time setting this book down. I could not wait to see what could possibly happen next and when the secret was going to explode.

I find that Ms. DeMaio writes some of the most touching story lines and characters that are so unique and really touch your emotions. This is very true to form for True Blend as well.

One more thing I must mention is the cover. Is that not a beautiful cover or what?!? Ms. DeMaio has some of the prettiest covers I have seen. They are just as wonderful as the story under it.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone that enjoys a good touching dramatic mystery with some romance thrown in the mix. If you have read Joanne DeMaio's work before then you really need to grab your copy of True Blend and start reading, you are going to love this book! If you have not had the pleasure of reading her work already then I recommend you start with this one and work your way back to her her first book Whole Latte Life.

I can not wait to see what wonderful story Joanne DeMaio comes up with for us next. So far I would say she has done a fabulous job with each of the four books I have had the chance to read.

I was given the opportunity to read this book so that I may share my thoughts with you. As always it has been my pleasure to share my thoughts with you on True Blend

You may find all of my reviews of Joanne DeMaio's books here.
