After her mother’s tragic death, Dani Wilde had no choice but to abandon her dreams. She left Columbia University and returned to her family’s Montana cherry farm, intent on being a maternal figure to her brothers. Now the kids are grown, and it’s finally her time to fly. Her sights are on New York City, and nothing will stop her—not even an old flame with gorgeous green eyes.

Celebrity photographer Ben Denton hasn’t seen Montana in years—and hasn’t spoken to Dani since “that night” so long ago. When he discovers he’s a dad to a four-year-old—and the child’s mother refuses to care for her—Montana and the Wilde farm spring to mind. The orchard is the only place that’s ever felt like home, but will the warmth of the Wilde family be enough to help Ben figure out how to be a father?

As the Wilde family gathers for the yearly cherry harvest and Dani struggles to figure out what she really wants in life, she discovers the shocking truth about her own mother—and learns that following her heart may lead her to her dreams after all.

Review:

Montana Cherries is the first chance I have had to read Kim Law's work. Kim Law has a writing style that I found to be captivating and quite enjoyable from beginning to end. I know I will certainly be on the look out for more of her books to read.

Dani Wilde is the glue that holds her family together. She has been sister, mother, caretaker, and has held her family together since the loss of their mother. I instantly admired Dani for all that she handles for her family. She adores her family and would do anything for any of them. She has put her dreams on hold to make sure they all felt secure and were well taken care of. She is a strong lady with a lot of weight on her shoulders. Not only does she handle the household, the family problems, helps out with the family business, she also has a marketing business of her own. She is one busy lady but always has time to do anything for loved ones.

Ben Denton finds himself an instant father when he is presented with a four year old little girl he did not know he had. He has no idea how to be a father or what to do for this little girl.So he heads to the only family he has ever known, the Wilde family. Even though Ben isn't sure how to be a father he has one part down pat, he loves his daughter.

One of the things I loved about this fabulous story was the interaction with the kids. Dani has an adorable little niece that she adores. The little girls become instant friends and Dani is wonderful with both girls. She knows just what to do to help Ben's daughter settle in. She is such a loving, caring person that the girls know they are safe and wanted in her presence.

I also loved that family is a such a big part of this story. I love when you get to see the whole family and how that interactions forms the personalities of the characters involved. The Wilde family is a close knit family that loves and takes care of each other. The brother's know something that they have kept from Dani. They try to protect her as much as she does them. When the secret is revealed it's tough on everyone. Kim Law has done a great job with a very intense storyline. She has shown the emotions of those involved in such a way that I felt a compassion for the whole family and what they had been through.

Ben and Dani have a one night past together. The attraction is still very strong and maybe just a little bit of friction while they try to fight their feeling for each other. Dani's loving caring, compassionate nature helps Ben find the right ways to bond with his daughter. The romance between Dani and Ben is sweet and hot. I loved watching these two get to know each other again. This is a second chance romance story with a touch of friends to romance feeling.

There are a few heartbreaking moments. I found myself wiping my eyes from time to time. I also found myself laughing out loud here and there. There is a lot of emotion, a good dose of family drama, wonderful family interaction, a sweet and steamy romance, overall just a fabulous story. I found myself flipping pages quickly because I could not wait to see what was going to happen next.

Several member of the Wilde family have a problem of their own that they need to work through. Each family member's problem adds a different aspect to the storyline.

Kim Law has written a very captivating story that I know I certainly enjoyed. The characters are well developed. They are charming, entertaining, and left me with the feeling of finding a whole family of new friends.

I would recommend Montana Cherries to anyone that enjoys a contemporary romance with family drama, cute little kids, a great romance story. I know I will certainly be on the look out for Kim Law's next release. I can't wait to see what other stories this talented author has in store for us lucky readers.

I was given the opportunity to read this great story so that I may share my thoughts with you. As always it has been my pleasure to share my thoughts with you on Montana Cherries.
