#Review -Headed for Trouble (The McKay's #1) by Shiloh Walker

Shiloh Walker has done it again. She has put the spotlight on a major issue in the world today. She has created a tremendous story with the perfect touch of romance, family drama, friendships, suspense, action and that nice touch of hot and steamy that she does so well.

I had a horrible time trying to set this book down to get anything else done. I just had to see what in the world was going to happen with Neve McKay and her family next.

Neve McKay has been through the mill and back again. This poor girl has been abused, used, deceived, threatened, and pushed to every limit possible. She's fought back to find her way home to where she fears she is not wanted. Neve is one of those characters that I found an instant connection with. I felt her fear, her pain, her mixed emotions and shed a few tears for her along the way.

Ian Campbell is the manager of the local pub. He's an Irish hunk that wears a kilt (what more could a girl ask for in a hero).  He's charming, protective of those he cares about, loyal,  and enjoys running the pub.  When Ian and Neve meet there are instant fireworks. Put those flammable items up because these two are in serious danger of exploding at any moment.  They chemistry they have together that is incredible. Ian makes Neve feels things she's never felt before. Neve makes Ian feels things he isn't sure he wanted.

Neve's brother and sister have doubts, fears, and regrets where Neve is concerned. After they learn Neve's huge secret they want to help her, protect her, and most of all show her their love. I adored the family connections and the friendships involved in this story. The characters are wonderful and well developed. The drama and suspense is so intense. There are a twist and turns that I did not see coming. A few twist left me holding my breath to see what was going to happen around the next turn.

Overall I was totally spellbound by the story and I could not put it down. If you are a Shiloh Walker fan already you are not going to want to miss this one. If you haven't had a chance to read her work yet and enjoy a deeply emotional story then grab this one now!  I enjoyed Neve and Ian's story and I can not wait to see what Ms. Walker has in store for the rest of the McKay family.

I was given the opportunity to read this great story so that I may share my thoughts with you. As always it has been my great pleasure to share my thoughts with you on Headed for Trouble.
