#Review - I'm Still Here (Je Suis Là) by Clélie Avit Lucy Foster (Translator)

I'm Still Here (Je Suis Là) by [Avit, Clélie]When I started reading I'm Still Here I was not sure what to expect. It was a different type of romance than I have read before. By the end of the first page I was hooked and flipping pages just as quickly as possible. This is one of those great books that you don't want to put down. It's a smooth read and incredibly easy to fly through when you can't help yourself from reading just one more page, well maybe just one more, and then one more chapter.

Elsa was in terrible accident and is in a coma. The unique concept to the story is that Elsa can hear what is going on and does have a few feelings even though she's still technically in a coma. The story is written so we are able to understand what Elsa is thinking and feeling. I quickly found myself cheering for this wonderful lady. She has lead such an action packed life and now is totally not active at all.

Thibault is in the same hospital but for a different reason. He's there while his mother visits his brother.Thibault isn't quite up to visiting his brother yet so he wonders the hospital. He accidentally finds himself in Elsa's.Thibault is an interesting fellow that has been through a lot lately and has a boat load of emotions wondering around.

Elsa and Thibault get to know each other even though Elsa is unable to speak or even open her eyes for Thibault. I would say this unique story line made me remember that love and understanding can over come a lot of things.

I won't tell you too much about this story but I will tell you that you need to grab your box of Kleenex before you settle in to enjoy I'm Still Here. I know I needed a few tissues along the way. This story has some VERY touching moments and a few dramatic as well

I truly enjoyed this great story and found myself completely engrossed in Elsa and Thibault's story quickly and completely.

I was given the opportunity to read this enthralling story and it has been my pleasure to share my thoughts with you.
