#Review - THE TROUBLE WITH DUKES By Grace Burrowes

I don't know how this is possible but The Trouble with Dukes it the first book I have read by Grace Burrowes.

Hamish MacHugh has been through a lot. He served in the war and experienced many events that still haunt him in his dreams. He loves his family and is fiercely protective of those he loves.

Hamish MacHugh has just recently discovered he is the new Duke of Murdoch. He reluctantly stepped into the role and had a lot of learning to do. He meets the perfect woman to help him learn what is done and what is not done when in the presents of members of the ton.

Megan Windham is a sweet young lady that finds herself in an unpleasant situation. Something from her past is haunting her as well. I won't tell you what, you are going to want to read this fabulous story and find out for yourself. I quickly bonded with Megan. One thing we both have in common is the need for glasses. Oh my I certainly know how that goes. The poor girl is teased by a bully though for having to wear them. I think one of my favorite scenes is when Hamish grabs her glasses and hands them back to her.

When Megan and Hamish meet there is an instant affection for one and another and an attraction that smolders and grows to the explosion point.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching Hamish and Megan get to know each other and explore a relationship. I love that both of their families played a huge role in their story. I always think it adds a little something extra special when the family is involved. It's fun to watch them at times meddle or cheer on the couple.

The romance is sweet with heat, the family interaction is wonderful, the perfect amount of page turning drama, add in the laughter and Ms. Burrowes has the perfect recipe for a great page turner read.

I can not wait to read Too Scot to Handle which is the next book in Windham Brides series.

I was given the opportunity to read this marvelous story and it has been my great pleasure to share my thoughts with you.
