#Review ~ The Cottages on Silver Beach by RaeAnne Thayne ~ @raeannethayne @SarahBurningham

My Review:
You know the saying you can't judge a book by it's cover? Well, there is one author I know of that you can judge a book by its cover, RaeAnne Thayne. The story inside is just as fabulous as the cover is beautiful. The Cottages on Silver Beach is a shining example of yet another fabulous story behind a beautiful cover.

Megan Hamilton is one busy lady. She runs the Inn that has been owned by her family for years, she shoots beautiful photos, and she is always there to help out with her niece and nephew. Megan is one of those characters that I felt a connection with right away. She loves her family and friends and she is very protective of them. One of the people she feels the need to protect her family from just rented the cabin next to her's at the Inn.

Elliot Bailey is in town for his sister's wedding reception. He's also recuperating from a gunshot wound, and wondering just where his career may go from here. When he booked his cabin at the Inn he didn't expect Megan to be in the cabin next door. Megan is the younger sister of the man that was his best friend. An unexpected event changed their relationship and put a heavy strain on Elliot's relationship with the Hamilton family.

There is a lot of tension between Megan and Elliott that makes for some interesting moments. There is also a deep attraction that has been hiding just under the surface for both of them. Then there is a past full of questions to be answered and wounded feelings that need to be mended. An unexpected road trip is just the thing for these two to find some answers, explore some feelings, and maybe find a way to a happily ever after.

It was so nice to visit Haven Point again with a nice little trip to Hope's Crossing. I always enjoy visiting with old friends to catch up with everyone and see what has happened since my last visit. If you have read the previous books in this series or the Hope's Crossing series, you too will enjoy catching up with old friends.

Ms. Thayne has written yet another fabulous story with characters that truly do feel like friends, in a small town setting that has all those characteristics that can only be found in a small town. The storyline is intriguing with romance, family issues, friendships, and a touch of mystery that has left a door open for more questions to be answered later.

I was given the opportunity to read this incredible story and it has been my pleasure to share my thoughts with you.

About The Cottages on Silver Beach:

Years after betraying her, he’s back in Haven Point…and ready to learn the truth

Megan Hamilton never really liked Elliot Bailey. He turned his back on her family when they needed him the most and it almost tore them all apart. So she’s shocked when Elliot arrives at her family’s inn, needing a place to stay and asking questions that dredge up the past. Megan will rent him a cottage, but that’s where it ends—no matter how gorgeous Elliot has become.

Coming back home to Haven Point was the last thing bestselling writer Elliot Bailey thought he’d ever do. But the book he’s writing now is his most personal one yet and it’s drawn him back to the woman he can’t get out of his mind. Seeing Megan again is harder than he expected and it brings up feelings he’d thought were long buried. Could this be his chance to win over his first love?
