#Review #NewRelease ~ The Lady Is Daring by Megan Frampton ~ @meganf

The Lady Is Daring: A Duke's Daughters Novel (The Duke's Daughters) by [Frampton, Megan]
Review:

Are you looking for a hot, steamy historical romance with plenty of action and suspense? The Lady is Daring is the perfect book for you then. I believe this is the first chance I have had to read anything by Megan Frampton and I know it will not be the last.

Oh, I just love a heroine that isn't afraid to go after what she wants, has her own thoughts and is a really strong independent lady too. Lady Ida Howlett is one of those ladies that I just know I would have been friends with if. She has the perfect amount of spunk to add interesting bits of laughter, she's smart, and very creative when she needs to be. She also loves her family very much and would do anything to keep them safe and happy. I really like Ida. She was very easy to bond with.

Bennett, Lord Carson has his hands full running everything for the family and dodging the women that his father is determined he should marry. Bennett is one those handsome fellows that I would have wanted in my corner. I love how he ended up going along for the ride with Ida to get her sister.

Bennett and Ida are just the perfect pair. Their attitudes mesh well, there is humor, passion, and companionship between them. I enjoyed watching these two get to know each other, to help each other, and squabble a little bit from time to time. The passion and attraction between these two steaming hot and highly combustible.

I found Ms. Frampton's writing style made for an enjoyable read. The storyline was great and kept my attention from the first page all the way to the end. The characters are so charming, charismatic, and really easy to bond with. I felt an instant connection with Ida, her sisters, Bennett, his friends, and his brother.

This is the third book in the Duke's Daughters series. I have not had the pleasure of reading the two previous books in this series yet. Ms. Frampton has done a great job of making it easy to pick up in the middle of the series and not feel like I was missing a lot of details. I think it's safe to say you could easily read this as a stand-alone but why not grab the other two books in the series too. I have a feeling they are just as fabulous as this one.

I was given the opportunity to read this incredible book and it has been my great pleasure to share my thoughts with you.

About The Lady Is Daring:

The Lady Is Daring: A Duke's Daughters Novel (The Duke's Daughters) by [Frampton, Megan]
Five well-bred sisters, one sensational scandal. Now the Duke of Marymount’s daughter Ida is about to find love in the most unconventional way . . .
It was easy for society to overlook Lady Ida Howlett; they found her bookish, opinionated, and off the marriage mart. But little did they know that behind a calm exterior beats the heart of an adventuress, one who, determined to discover her runaway sister’s whereabouts, steals a carriage and sets off on a daring mission. Then she discovers she’s not alone! Bennett, Lord Carson, is inside, and he refuses to leave.
Lord Carson’s plans had always been to find a soft, gentle wife who would run his home and raise his children. Still, he makes a bargain with Ida—he won’t desert her during her mad adventure. He’ll make sure she’s safe, and then find a suitable lady to fall in love with. But when rules (and garments) become discarded during this long, intimate journey, it’s soon clear that this surprisingly daring lady is the woman he’s needed all along.
