#Review ~The Frame-Up by Meghan Scott Molin ~ @megfuzzle @SarahBurningham

My Review:
Sometimes it's fun to kind of step out of my comfort zone for reading. Every now and then I come across a book that sounds great. The Frame-Up by Meghan Scott Molin sounded like a fun mystery-suspense, drama with a touch of romance and friendships throw in the mix. 

MG Martin is a fun girl with a love for all things geekish, including incredible fashions for Comic Cons and such. She's an inquisitive young lady with the tendency to find herself smack dab in the middle of a mess without even trying. She's fun, smart, and honestly incredibly creative with both her work and with the case she is pulled into. 

Detective Matteo Kildare is just in line to get a cup of tea while scanning the photos from his current case. Little does he know the beautiful lady behind him is checking out the photos while impatiently waiting for her morning dose of caffeine. When his case takes another turn and is becoming possibly more dangerous he seeks out MG. 

I loved watching Matteo and MG work together. Matteo is the straight lace, we're going to do this by the book kind of guy. MG is a little less straight-laced and a whole lot more adventurous. They share an instant attraction and do seem to bring out the best of each other. They just have to solve this case before things become deadly series. 

I have to admit this it not normally something that would be at the top of my reading list but I LOVED IT! I found myself completely engrossed in MG's life with her geekish friends, and their movie parties, game designing activities, and writing comics for an awesome company that MG grew up reading comics from. Her friends are great. I loved Ryan and his gaming abilities and L is just positively fabulous! I would really like to meet her sometime and hear what stories she has to tell. This book has it all. The romance is mild romance but does add into the storyline to make things all that much more fun when MG and Matteo get down to the nitty-gritty of the case. 

I love that I have gotten in on the first book by Meghan Scott Molin. I will be sure to watch for her name again. The Frame-Up is a wonderful start to what appears to be a promising new author and series. She has a fun writing style that certainly kept me flipping pages wondering what in the world could possibly happen next and how in the world was MG either going to get out of the situation or explain it to Matteo, L, or Ryan later.
