#NewRelease ~ Three, A Love Story By Adriana Kraft ~ @AdrianaKraft

Three, A Love Story
By Adriana Kraft

BLURB:
Three lives—but how many loves?
Committed lovers for three years, Jamie and Susan are good together. Jamie knows she wants Susan in her life forever. But what if that’s not enough?
Both bi, the two have continued dating men occasionally, and now Jamie’s falling in love with Mason. Can she love two persons? Will her love for either one wrench the other one out of her life?
Jamie’s convinced a long-term three-way relationship is the answer, but none of the players are prepared for what’s coming. Two-way relationships are hard enough—is a three-way even possible? And if so, what must each of them give up to create it?

available now at Extasy Books
Coming soon to other e-book vendors
Excerpt:
Jamie eyed her partner, waiting for her to awaken. Now was the moment—she couldn’t let the subject wait any longer, even though it put her stomach in knots. Mason Johnson. It was time. Maybe past time. She steadfastly believed everything would work out for the best. Still, what she was about to propose might shake their comfy world a wee bit.
She smiled that her Irish grandmother’s voice had crept into her thoughts. Well, maybe that was why she felt so good about her future—their futures. It might require a bit of the luck of the Irish to pull off, but she just knew it could be done—if everyone simply trusted the process. She had Celtic roots. She had natural red hair…nothing fake about that. She could work her own magic. Couldn’t she?
Jamie grimaced. She wished it was so. But she’d never discovered a magic wand or a book of wizardry that would give her that kind of power. No, if her dream became real, it would require three persons working together.
She blew her waking lover a kiss. It would take three persons playing together, too.
“Hey, you,” she said softly. “Was that as good for you as it was for me?”

#Review ~ Tough Luck Cowboy by A.J. Pine ~ @AJ_Pine

Tough Luck Cowboy (Crossroads Ranch) by [Pine, A.J.]Tough Luck Cowboy is the first chance I have had to read anything by A.J. Pine and it certainly will not be the last. I became completely engrossed in this story from the very first page. The storyline is unique and entertaining.

The story starts out with poor Lilly Green having the worst birthday possible. She has her divorce papers in hand, she has run straight into her soon to be ex-husband's best friend, and she has just talked herself into catering for a wedding without knowing who the groom is. Oh my! I think I found an instant bond with Lilly. She has courage that is for sure and she's determined to make her new catering business work even if it means she has to cater the wedding of her ex-husband to his now pregnant soon to be wife. Oh and on top of that, she has to put up with the guy that she thinks hates her. He is to help her work everything out for the wedding food.

Luke Everett has is that bad boy cowboy that all ladies love to look at and maybe drool over but he's too busy to settle down and on top of that his best friend married the only lady that he's ever really thought of in the forever sense.

Little do Luke and Lilly know that under all that hostility there is simmering passion that could turn into one incredible romance given the chance.

I was so totally engrossed in this book that I read it in one sitting. I just could not put it down. I had to see just what was going to happen with Lilly and Luke, how he was going to finish out his rodeo career and if there was a chance that these two just might be able to turn all that friction into a strong and passionate love.

There are funny moments, heartfelt moments, heart-stopping moments, and of course some really great romantic moments in this book. The characters are incredible, the storyline certainly captured my attention, and the author has a lovely writing style to make this just a truly enjoyable read.

I have not read the first book in this series but I didn't feel like I was missing any important details. Ms. Pine has done a great job of telling the story so it stands on its own just fine. Now that I have read Tough Luck Cowboy I would love to read the first books in the series. I am sure they are just as awesome as this book is.

This may be the first book I have read by A.J. Pine but I know I will be on the lookout for more of her work. I can't wait to see what she has in store for Walker Evertt in the next book in this series.

I was given the opportunity to read this incredible book and it has been my pleasure to share my thoughts with you.

#Review ~ Tempted by Love: A Montana Heat Novel by Jennifer Ryan ~ @JenRyan_author

Tempted by Love: A Montana Heat Novel by [Ryan, Jennifer]
Tempted by Love is the second book I have had the pleasure to read by Jennifer Ryan and it sure will not be the last. This talented lady could very well work her way to the top of my read list. She has created characters that are very easy to relate to and bond with. The storyline is full of suspense, drama, mystery, intrigue, oh and romance, steaming hot romance.

Alina Cooke is an intelligent, independent lady that thinks her life is following along on a nice path. She's busy with her partnership in a pharmacy and everything is going pretty well. Then she is involved in a serious accident. The question about the accident is it really just an accident or someone that is after Alina because of her brother's jobs in the DEA.

Jay Bennett was present at the weddings of his two best friends. He ends up finding more than just the ceremonies to keep him busy. He meets up with Alina (his two best friends' little sister) and things get hot.
They that one night or maybe two is all there will be their relationship when Alina finds herself in danger. Of course, Jay jumps in to make sure Alina is safe and tries to figure out what is going on and why she is in danger.

Alina and Jay find a connection and passion that they had not admitted to having before. These two work well together and their chemistry is fabulous both in the bedroom and beyond.

There is a lot of breath stealing, heart-pounding drama, and suspense in this story. I found myself flipping pages quickly to see what little piece of information that was going to be revealed next.

I really liked how Ms. Ryan brought the attention to a problem in society that is rapidly growing and so very very dangerous. I wish so many many people would think before doing what they do to their bodies with drugs. She has done a wonderful job of showing just how dangerous drug addiction is and what can happen to families.

Overall this one was an incredibly well-written story that held me captivated from the very first page until the very last. I know I will certainly be on the lookout for more books by Jennifer Ryan. I like her style and writing voice. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next for us lucky readers.

I was given the opportunity to read this fantabulous book and it has been my pleasure to share my thoughts with you.

#Review ~ Desperate by Laura Griffin ~ @Laura_Griff

Desperate Girls by [Griffin, Laura]
Laura Griffin is one of my very favorite romantic suspense authors. She is such a talent with Romance, suspense, drama, intrigue steaming hot passion, and characters that have great charisma. Desperate Girls is a shining example of her extreme talent. Desperate Girls is one of those books that I picked up and just could not put down. I was hooked from the very beginning.

Brynn Holloran is a strong, smart, independent lady that knows what needs to be done for her clients and how to get it done. If I needed a lawyer I would want this lady on my side. She's incredible. She's used to doing things her way and when a possible security threat interferes with her job she's not happy about it. She doesn't like not being in control.

Erik Morgan is a guy that will kick butt and then ask questions later. He is strong, smart, and knows how to keep his clients safe. This guy is one that I would want on my side too. He knows what he is doing. It doesn't hurt that he is incredibly handsome either.

Brynn doesn't take well to having her routine change and it's Erik job to keep her safe. They encounter a few up close and personal disagreements about how things are going to be done. Oh my! The chemistry between these two is so incredibly powerful that it's going to ignite with little or no notice at all. And oh my when it does WOW!

There is a lot of suspense and drama in this story. I could not put it down. Just when I thought that Brynn and Erik may have things under control then something else would happen and I was once again quickly flipping pages with baited breathe.

If you enjoy an incredible drama-filled romantic suspense story then you have got to grab this one. If you are a Laura Griffin fan like me, you're going to love it, I know I sure did.

On the whole, this book has it all. There is the steaming hot romance, the heart-pounding suspense, the chemistry between all the characters, the storyline is fabulous and kept me guessing from the beginning all the way to the end. I was a bit shocked by a few of the secrets revealed at the end. Desperate Girls is another fantabulous read from Laura Griffin. I can't wait to see what she has in store for us lucky readers next.

I was given the opportunity to read this terrific book and it has been my pleasure to share my thoughts with you.

#Review ~ When a Duke Loves a Woman by Lorraine Heath ~ @Lorraine_Heath @avonbooks

When a Duke Loves a Woman: A Sins for All Seasons Novel by [Heath, Lorraine]

About When a Duke Loves a Woman:

Gillie Trewlove knows what a stranger’s kindness can mean, having been abandoned on a doorstep as a baby and raised by the woman who found her there. So, when suddenly faced with a soul in need at her door—or the alleyway by her tavern—Gillie doesn’t hesitate. But he’s no infant. He’s a grievously injured, distractingly handsome gentleman who doesn’t belong in Whitechapel, much less recuperating in Gillie’s bed . . .
Being left at the altar is humiliating; being rescued from thugs by a woman—albeit a brave and beautiful one—is the pièce de résistance to the Duke of Thornley’s extraordinarily bad day. After nursing him back from the brink, Gillie agrees to help him comb London’s darker corners for his wayward bride. But every moment together is edged with desire and has Thorne rethinking his choice of wife. Yet Gillie knows the aristocracy would never accept a duchess born in sin. Thorne, however, is determined to prove to her that no obstacle is insurmountable when a duke loves a woman.

Review:

When a Duke Loves a Woman: A Sins for All Seasons Novel by [Heath, Lorraine]I have found another wonderful historical romance author to add to my ever growing list of must reads. Lorraine Heath's When a Duke Loves a Woman has all those fabulous things that make a great read. The story is fascinating with a touch of drama, mystery, suspense and of course a wonderful romance. The Characters are compelling and I quickly established a bond with both Gillie and Thorne.

Gillie Trewlove comes from a family that has been put together mostly with children that were not wanted by their birth parents. The Trewlove family may not be bound by blood but they are a tight-knit family that sticks together. I love Gillie's spunk. This lady has carved out her place in the world where women really are not allowed to be on their own and take care of a successful business. Gillie has her nitch and she's good at it.

The  Duke of Thornley set out to find his missing bride to be. He was left at the altar by the lady his father had arranged for him to marry. Gillie walks out her back door to find a bunch of hooligans robbing and beating him senseless. Gillie scares the thieves away and takes in Thorne. She nurses him until he well enough to travel by coach to his home.

Throne shows up to Thank Gillie for keeping him alive and ask for her help to find his lost bride. He's changed his mind about the marriage but he's a soft-hearted gentleman that wants to make sure she is OK. During their search feelings start to grow and the attraction starts to steam.

There are so many things that stand between Thorne and Gillie's relationship. Their background could not be more different, Gillie want's freedom to own her Saloon, and Thorne needs to marry to produce an heir. However sometimes love just may be strong enough to get these two through all the obstacles that stand in their way.

I truly enjoyed reading Gillie and Thorne's story. They are a unique and fun couple. I had the pleasure of reading about one of Gillie's brother's in a previous book. I truly enjoyed that story as well and I can not wait to see what Ms. Heath may have in store for more members of the Trewlove family. I will certainly be waiting to read more from this talented lady.

I was given the opportunity to read this incredible book and it is my pleasure to share my thoughts with you.

#Interview ~ Fey West by Michael J. Allen ~ @TheDScribbler

Fey West (The Guns of Underhill Book 1) by [Allen, Michael J.]
Fey West
The Guns of Underhill Book 1
by Michael J. Allen

Interview with Michael J. Allen:

Crystal: Today I have the pleasure of hosting Michael J. Allen. Welcome Michael! I am so happy to have you here today. Would you share a little bit about yourself with us today?

Michael: Well, I don’t really consider myself very interesting outside of the stories that escape my head. I was born in Oregon, love the rain, and experiencing new foods and cultures. I live in Georgia with my two incredible black lab overlords, Myth and Magesty. I got hooked on watching readers argue about my stories when I was about eighteen. My day job is in technology. It can be pretty intrusive on my writing schedule, but the paycheck lets me travel to conventions about once a month to enjoy one of my favorite parts of the whole author gig—meet readers.

Crystal: What are you currently working on?

Michael: At the moment, I’m jugging the third book in my Bittergate modern high fantasy series, Forge of War; edits on Duplicity—the second book of my Dumpstermancer urban fantasy books; and proof “reading” the audio book of my first space opera, Scion of Conquered Earth

Crystal: Where did you come up with the idea for either your current release or your current WIP?

Michael: I picked up a new mythology book from the bargain rack at the local bookstore, brought it home and dropped it onto the stack siting on the stairs waiting to be taken up to my office. The book under it was a fair folk encyclopedia I got off of Amazon. A thought occurred to me. What if the Greek gods (or Roman or Egyptian or Norse or all of them) were just a bunch of power fairies screwing with humanity to get us to bow and scrape? What would humanity do? What kind of world would that make if instead of pilgrims, North America was colonized by fairy creatures and druids fleeing religious persecution? One question led to another and I ended up with Fey West.

Crystal: Do you have a favorite snack that like to munch on while writing? If so would you mind sharing what it is with us?

Michael: I like to nibble, and since I have a tendency to forget the food is there, I prefer stuff that can sit out a while. I also try for small bites, so grapes or apple slices, cheese cubes, crackers, olives of any sort and occasionally celery stick, broccoli and dip. Of course, no writing session wouldn’t be complete without my long term partner, Diet Pepsi.

Crystal: Do you have a favorite scene you would like to share with us?

Michael: There are a lot of great scenes in Fey West, but I think one of my favorites is a scene in a saloon. Rafe is playing cards with a bunch of other gunslingers and the little six inch high pixie he’d saved from slavery. A bad guy comes in intent to shoot Rafe in the back, and the pixie gets up on the table, magically creates a pair of floating six-guns and starts talking like Clint Eastwood.

Crystal: When you are not busy writing wonderful stories to keep us lucky readers entertained, what do you like to do? Do you have a hobby?

Michael: I try to pull myself away from the keyboard once in a while—though I admit it can be a real struggle to leave some poor character stranded and in danger. I’ve been trying to learn heavy combat in the SCA, and I regularly meet up with my fellow Starfleet International “crewmates” to talk geek or share movies.

The activity I’ve really enjoyed since my return to it 2 years ago, is my weekly Dungeons and Dragons game. The guy running it is one of those super crafty people with way too much time on his hands. Roleplaying again lets me focus on one character without worrying too much about plot and Billy’s constantly showing up with some strange creature cobbled together from dollar store toys or a cool new set piece wired to glow or burn or who knows what.

Crystal: Do you have a favorite background noise you like to have going while you write (TV, Music, kids playing)?

Michael: I used to have a 400 DVD jukebox that just played movies at random, but since it died I usually run “watch it again” movies on Netflix. Unfortunately, Netflix doesn’t have a shuffle feature, but at the same time it is less likely to play something I haven’t seen in a while that might distract me from the writing.

Crystal: Thanks for visiting. It has been a pleasure having you visit today. Can you think of anything else you would like to share with us today?

Michael: You guys live in a special time, really a golden age for readers. There are so many up and coming talents out there that might never have been published otherwise. Sure, there are some not so great books too, but getting a publishing contract took a lot of time and effort. I’ve seen a lot of good writers just give up and walk away, Enjoy a world of stories at your fingertips, try some of those indies out there and don’t forget to tell them—and preferably the world via a review—how their book made you feel.

About Fey West:

Fey West (The Guns of Underhill Book 1) by [Allen, Michael J.]Fey do not forgive, and they do not forget.
Neither do gunslingers.

A half-breed born under a death sentence in the New World and saved from execution in the Old, Rafael West—half-elven druid turned gunslinger—returns to his homeland, wary and beholden to the high fairy who negotiated his release.

To repay his debt, West is forced to protect and champion a dwarven railroad laying poisonous, cold iron across the wild lands of the fey continent, which means he’ll have to face the very elven tribesmen that want him dead for the crime of “stealing” their magic.

If Big Iron stops its march across fey land, anyone he calls friend will die. The woman he’s trying very hard not to love will die. One wrong move will plunge the entire continent into full scale war.

West will need more than six-guns and luck to survive. He’ll have to lie, cheat, and steal, but even that may not be enough once the secrets start to unravel. The fey aren’t the only ones with secrets to hide.

AMALFI COAST

The moment we were all comfortably seated, we were inundated with food, in the best way possible. We didn’t order one thing; it was all brought to us. Whatever the chef was cooking was what was served, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Every plate was also a work of art: each was hand-painted, colorful, and artistic. And before we knew it, music filled the air when the owner’s niece took a microphone and asked all the patrons to join in on a sing-along.

The Italian blond beauty entertained us with her soothing voice, ethnic songs, and gregarious hospitality.

Her rousing renditions of both familiar and unfamiliar songs left us ready to sit back and enjoy the end of our memorable meal. Served family style, it was a meal that included five appetizers, five entrees, homemade wine, pear grappa, and five desserts. It was extravagant, yet unpretentious.

As desserts and limoncello came to the table, so did the owner–chef. Every bite that was served was natural and simply prepared, yet it was the most delicious food I’d ever eaten.

Prior to settling into her role as a writer, Beth was a marketing professional whose favorite part of the job was writing. As a freelancer, Beth has enjoyed contributing to numerous lifestyle and home publications, yet she yearned for something more than a magazine article. Then along came Musing Mediterranean. Beth quickly became immersed in chronicling this travel event and articulating her perceptions of the places she visited, the people she met, the foods she enjoyed and the crazy moments she encountered. The idea that someone who may never travel to Greece, Italy or Turkey could appreciate this experience through Beth’s eyes became a driving force behind the story. Revealing her struggle with travel anxiety helped Beth move forward and embrace, once again, how very wonderful it is to travel the world.
