It's really hard to believe but I think Accidentally on Purpose is the first book I have read by Jill Shalvis. After this book I know it won't be my last
Elle Wheaton is a no nonsense, get the job done and get it right, independent lady that can charm her way though or kick butt her way out of any situation. I bonded with Elle quickly. She's one of those ladies that you really would like to sit down and have a drink with. I bet she has some interesting stories.
Archer Hunt is one of those guys you would want in your corner if things went wrong. This guy can handle any situation. He's also handsome, charming, and a good friend.
Archer has a fabulous team that works for him. These guys know how to get things done. It was interesting to read about a few of their adventures and how they went about getting what they needed. I enjoyed the scene where Elle helps them out. She has a way of getting done what needs done too. She also had a way of making Archer show that he just might be a tad bit jealous.
Elle and Archer share a past that not everyone knows about. Elle feels guilty about their past and Archer feels like he should have done a better job. The interaction between these two range from humor, to friction, to oh my steaming hot. I really enjoyed watching their story unfold and learn the details of what had kept them apart.
Elle receives a surprise visitor that she sure isn't suspecting, and there is someone out there causing havoc and discontent. There is danger in the air and Archer is determined to keep Elle safe one way or another. I don't want to tell you too much or spoil the story for you. I'm just going to say go grab your own copy of these book and enjoy the suspense, drama, romance, and team work for yourself. I know I certainly enjoyed this one.
This is the third book in the Heartbreaker Bay series. I have not had the pleasure of reading the first two in the series yet so I think you will find this will stand on it's own just find. Now that I've read this one though I know I would certainly love to read the first two in the series I will also be on the look out for more books by Jill Shalvis. She has a lovely writing style and a way with a story line that I found captivating. The characters are charming and easy to bond with. Overall I just plain loved this story.
I was given the opportunity to read this marvelous story and it has been my great pleasure to share my thoughts with you.
