#Review - Beyond Duty By Stanalei Fletcher

Beyond Duty (Northstar Security Series Book 3) by [Fletcher, Stanalei]Who else loves Romantic Suspense stories? Are you looking for a FABULOUS romantic suspense story with a whole lot of heart pounding, breath taking drama filled story? Grab Stanalei Feltcher's Beyond Duty and pick up her previous books while your shopping. They are all wonderful reads and each one has became my favorite book of her's when I finish.

Riley O’Neal is a great agent. He has done plenty of undercover work before but nothing like the assignment he has just been given. Maybe I should say never in a situation like the one he enters into with his new assigned partner. Riley is handsome, brave, intelligent, and creative. If I was in trouble I sure would not mind having this guy in my corner.

U.S. Army Lt. Mary “Chip” Anderson is a lady I would want in my corner too. She is smart, caring, strong, independent, and knows how to kick butt. This girl can take down just about anyone before they even know their in her cross hairs. It didn't take me long to know I'd like to be friends with this lady. She's pretty awesome.

Chip isn't all the keen on having been assigned Riley as her partner either. They are about to head out on a mission that is very dear to Chip's heart so she is willing to accept whatever help she needs to get the job done.

Riley and Chip work well together. There is plenty of heated attraction between them. There is also a friendship forming quickly while they are in one dangerous situation after another.

I don't want to tell you too much about the dramatic scenes in the book. I want you to expense that intense heart pounding feeling for yourself. I know that once I started this book I had a REALLY hard time putting it down.

Ms. Fletcher has a way with a story let me tell you. I adore this lady's work. She has created a phenomenal story line with great characters that quickly became friends. I cheered for their victories, feared for their lives a few times, and let out a sigh of relief when after each major drama.

Beyond Duty is part of the Northstar Security Series. Don't worry if you haven't had a chance to read the previous books yet. Each book stands on it's own just fine. I enjoyed each one though so I'd grab up the whole set and settle in for some stupendous reading.

I was given the opportunity to read this great story and it has been my pleasure to share my thoughts with you.

Blurb:

Northstar Security agent, Riley O’Neal, balks at posing as anyone’s husband for an assignment. Nevertheless, to rescue the kidnapped wife of a U.S. Senator, he’ll perform his duty and do his best to resist the charms of the very woman who deceived him on a previous mission.

U.S. Army Lt. Mary “Chip” Anderson is uneasy about the undercover assignment to pose as newlyweds. Concealing her attraction to Riley while staying focused on the task, may be the biggest challenge. Despite efforts to remain objective, enforced proximity ignites emotions and a desire to make the fake honeymoon real.

When Chip is kidnapped during a botched rescue attempt of the senator's wife, both women become pawns in the case that threatens the nation’s security. Riley must remain objective, save the women, and avert the threat. But after that, can he convince Chip that she wants to wear his ring forever?
