INTERVIEW:
Crystal: Today as part of this Goddess Fish Promotions Virtual Book Tour, I have the chance to ask Alexandra Forry a few questions. Welcome Alexandra, I'm so happy to have you here today. Would you share a little bit about yourself with us today?
Alexandra: I’m Alexandra born and raised in Las Vegas NV. I write sweet and complex romance, that the reader has no clue how it’s going to end. I like to share with the reader love of writing stories that amuse and intrigue you.
Crystal: How do you celebrate the release of a new book?
Alexandra: I must say that I don’t do that much for a release of one of my books, but for my first book I went out to a nice dinner with cake and champagne. :) I love doing a Facebook Event Book Release party because I have a lot of friends around the US and that’s my way celebrating a book.
Crystal: What is your favorite snack to munch on while you write?
Alexandra: Starburst all the way for me. Although I munch on a lot of food while I am writing. It’s what kind of snack that I have laying around.
Crystal: Where did you come up with the idea for Wildflower?
Alexandra: My grandma had a sandwich and coffee shop before I was born and while I was growing up she told me stories of her sandwich shop and the people that she got to know. I always thought it would make a great book if I add some romance to it and a sexy billionaire and his out–going daughter.
Crystal: What are you working on now?
Alexandra: I will never tell. I want it to be a surprise. ;)
Crystal: Do you have a favorite scene from Wildflower you would like to share with us?
Alexandra: I just love the ending how all the main characters find happens with their own decision. Well until the second book comes out. I have to say that any part with Lexy Heller is my favorite scene’s to write.

“Why don’t we open a business? Like a simple sandwich and coffee shop,” Sydney announced with a glimmer of hope in her eyes.
“A sandwich shop?” Blanche asked, looking surprised and a bit taken aback.
“Yeah, why not?”
While Sydney waited for an answer, Blanche just looked at her, dumbfounded
“Sydney, I would love to open a sandwich shop, but it takes a lot of money--money that we just don’t have.”
“Oh please, Aunt Blanche! I bet you can get a loan from the bank. It will be exciting!” Sydney pleaded.
“I don’t think that your uncle will approve. Sydney I love your idea, truly do! I was taken aback at first, because it has always been a dream of mine to open a little shop of some kind on Main Street,” Blanche said wistfully. ”It costs a lot of money to open up a business, besides I have an offer for a job in Prescott.”
“Pooh on Uncle Dean, and turn down that job. For me, please? You can ask Annette how to open a business--she will know, since she owns her own business.” Sydney said begging her aunt.
“I will think about it, okay, Sydney?” Blanche said making her way to her closet and picking out a dress.

Alexandra: I’m Alexandra Forry, author of two contemporary romances, Timeless Endings and Wildflower. I live in my hometown, Las Vegas NV. I just love living in my town because you have everything at you finger tips. Top of line, restaurants, entertainment, bars, night clubs, and such. There is a feeling of joy I get when I am driving down the Las Vegas Strip. I could not image living anywhere but here.
Crystal: Do you have a favorite scene you would like to share with us?
Alexandra: In chapter 2, the main lovers met up at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area that is outside of Las Vegas. So romantic and a must read. That is one of my favorite scenes that I had ever written.
Crystal: Where did you come up with the idea for Timeless Endings?
Alexandra: It just came to me one night when I was very bored, it was meant to be a Fanfic to the 1995 movie Casino but I figured why not turn it into a book?
Crystal: What are you currently working on?
Alexandra: Ah, you have to wait and see!
Crystal: Do you have any special routine that you follow when you are writing?
Alexandra: I really don’t have a special routine I just sit down and write “chapter one” to the “the end”, I don’t go back and forth.
Crystal: Did you have to do a lot of research for this book or any other? If so do you have a fascinating fact that you have learned you would like to share with us?
Alexandra: I spent over a year on researching the Las Vegas Mafia before I got the idea of Timeless Endings. I can’t really say that I learned any fascinating fact. If I did, I can’t say it. “OMERTA”
Crystal: Who are some of your favorite authors that you like to read?
Alexandra: I like reading LaVyrle Spence, she is the author whom I would love to sit down and have tea with. Other author’s that I like to read is Nora Roberts, Danielle Steel. I love reading books that are by my dear friends. :)
Crystal: Is there any genre you haven't written that you would like to try?
Alexandra: Murder mystery would be something I want to try my hand at someday.

“Yes, it was to me, too. We never really talked about it. Tony, why were you gone when I woke up?” They looked at each other with longing in their eyes.
“What would have happened if we had spent the whole weekend together? Going to the wedding together; me meeting your son. Only to have you leave me to fly back home?”
“But you called a month later, telling me that you were coming out."
“Eve, my intent was to fly to Las Vegas just to see you. Then I found out that Sadie was pregnant, that lead to a bad miscarriage and that's why I backed out. When I finally got out here you were with Gus.”
"I was really looking forward to seeing you, Tony, when you called to tell me that you..."
"I'm here now, Eve, that's what really matters," he whispered lovingly. She felt the sexual tension building up between them as he ran his hand down her cheek.
"It’s funny how you end up meeting someone, never knowing that someone will be an important part of your life.”
