Excerpt:

Reed Tucker, Tuck to his buddies, tugged at the tie on his U.S. Navy service dress blue uniform, and his gut knotted as he entered the rehabilitation center of the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.
He’d never run from anything, not a machine gun pinning his unit to a position, a fight where he was outnumbered, or an argument he truly believed in. But the sights, smells, and sounds inside the walls of the rehabilitation center made him want to get the hell out of the facility faster than a cat with its tail on fire.
But he couldn’t leave. Not yet. This was graduation day for Reaper, aka Cory Nipton, his best friend and former teammate on SEAL Team 10. Reaper was being released from the rehabilitation center after enduring something even tougher than BUD/s training, the twenty-four week Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training designed to weed out the true SEALs from the wannabes.
But Reaper’s release from rehab wasn’t the only event that brought Tuck there that day. He was going to a wedding. His heart twisted, his palms grew clammy, and he clutched the ring box in his left hand as regret warred with guilt, creating a vile taste in his mouth.
Reaper was marrying Delaney, the only woman Tuck had ever trusted with his heart. The only woman who’d forced him to get over his past and dare to dream of a future. She was the woman he could see himself spending the rest of his life with. And today she was promising to love, honor, and cherish his best friend—a better man than Tuck by far. A hero who’d lost his right arm because Tuck hadn’t given him sufficient cover. Cory deserved all the happiness he could get after being medically discharged out of the only family he’d ever known. The Navy SEALs.
His hand on the door to the room where the wedding was to take place, Tuck squared his shoulders and stepped into his future.

EXCERPT:
THE BRUSH OF FINE SILK TEASED ALICE from her sleep like the caress of a lover’s supple lips sliding down the line of her throat. She murmured and tried to move toward the sensation, but her arms and legs felt somehow weighted down. The luxurious sweep of silk over her skin continued its sweet torture, swirling over her belly and farther on.
Smells of sandalwood and spice embraced her, and something far more primal and earthy. Alice sighed with pleasure at the feel of the silk, and then disappointment when the caress moved away. She felt a sleepy smile curve the corner of her mouth as her eyelids fluttered open.
She frowned as confusion fogged her brain. She was lying flat on her back in a soft bed in the middle of a dimly lit room. Golden moonlight spilled through the window just beyond the foot of the bed and a breeze stirred the sheer curtains to either side of the opening. Candles glowed all around the room, perched on tables and chests. The breeze caused the flames to flicker and cast haunting shadows upon glittering walls.

One large and very dark shadow shifted beside the bed from above Alice’s range of sight. She turned her gaze from the candles, past tables and a large chair, toward the shadow. Her heart stuttered.
The stubble-jawed man, the one with the heart tattoo.

Hidden Prey by Cheyenne McCray ~ Lawmen #1 ~ REVIEW

Hidden Prey is one of those great books that keeps you on the edge of your seat. I have to admit I was hanging on tightly and wondering what in the world was going to happen next. There is plenty of suspense and drama that kept me spellbound throughout the whole story.

Tori Cox has just left her boyfriend and really just wants to go home to see her parents. All she wants is some down time with her family and some time away from the stress of her life. Then she sees something she really wasn't prepared for. She watches the execution of a federal agent. That is when life starts to get crazy for Tori.

In her quest to stay safe she meets federal agent Landon Walker. Landon has a bone to pick with the cartel that killed one of his fellow agents. So he makes it his mission to protect Tori. He doesn't mean to form feelings for her but they are drawn to each other.

There are so many things that happen in this book. Just when you think Tori and Landon are safe they so ARE NOT! Things blow up, people are killed, shots are fired. There is drama and suspense all over the place in this book.

Then there is the romance between  Tori and Landon. They are just what the other needs. Landon is healing from losing a loved one. Tori is freshly broken up with her boyfriend. I loved watching these two get to know each other and fall for each other amidst the drama that is now Tori's life.

I don't want to tell you too much. I will tell you that you should grab a copy of this book. It is the first book in the Lawmen series. I can't wait to see what Ms. McCray comes up with next.  I know I will be anxiously awaiting her next release. She always serves up a terrific storyline.

I was given the opportunity to read this book so that I may share my thoughts with you. As always it has been my great pleasure to share my thoughts with you on Hidden Prey.

Demons and Lovers by Cheyenne McCray ~ Review ~

I have now had the chance to read several books by the fabulously talented Cheyenne McCray. She always amazes me with her talent of writing a very fascinating story that is also oh so steamy hot.

Demons and Lovers contains three stories and I enjoyed each one. Cheyenne has taken her talented and written three wonderful paranormal stories that certainly kept my attention. The first two are very steamy hot and the third is packed for a drama and action.

Incubus Desires tells the story of Ericka Roberts who is meeting the man of her dreams every night in her dreams. However he leaves her wanting each night. Aedan is suppose to be collecting Ericka's soul but he just can't bring himself to do it. I don't want to tell you too much but this story left me with the feeling that true love can happen quickly and has the power to over come ANYTHING in it's path. I really enjoyed this story. I liked Ericka's spunk and Aedan's finding his feelings ran deeper than he ever thought possible. Over all this was a really great HOT paranormal romance.

Succubus Seduction tells the story of Archer Dane and Lilin. When Lilin is unable to take Archer's soul she is forced to live life as a human. However she has no idea how to live life as a human. As time goes on she gets to know Archer better and Archer gets to know Lilin. This was a great story that I really enjoyed as well. I don't want to tell you too much and spoil the story for you so I'll leave the rest of my thoughts to myself and let you enjoy this one.

No Cursed Allowed is a A Night Tracker Novella. I have to admit I have not read any of these stories yet so this was a introduction for me. I found this one to one really action packed paranormal story. I would really like to read more stories of this series because this one was a nice introduction. It was a page tuner that is for sure. There wasn't any steam in this one but it was still a really good story.

On the whole I really enjoyed each of these stories and they left me wanting to read more of Cheyenne McCray's as usual. I always look forward to reading her next release. I have more of her books in my to be read mountain and I can not wait to get to them. So you may all look forward to more reviews coming soon.

I was given the opportunity to read this great story so that I may share my thoughts with you. As always it has been my pleasure to share my thoughts with you about Demons and Lovers

Belong To You (Riding Tall #10) by Cheyenne McCray ~ Review ~

I have had the wonderful opportunity to read quite a few books by the talented Cheyenne McCray now. I have enjoyed each book and found each one to be a real page turner. Belong To You I found not only to be a real page turner full of suspense but also a tear jerker in places.

I felt an instant connection to Anna Batista. She is just one really wholesome family girl, living to help take care of her family. She loves her Aunt, Uncle, and little cousins and is so pleased that they are all together.

She attends a debate with her best friend. Her best friend's brother (a jerk if I may add) is debating the current sheriff (a real good guy). Anna meets Sheriff Mike McBride and there is an instant connection between these two. After much personal debate Anna decides to meet Mike for drinks and the connection grows deeper.

However when the jerk Chad finds out about this blooming relationship he adds some major drama to the situation that makes me like the jerk even less. I won't tell you too much about this because it is a major part of the storyline.  However this does lead to some major tension between Anna and Mike and also leads to some very serious tear jerker moments.

I really enjoyed this story, It didn't take me very long at all to read. There is plenty of drama, a few steamy scenes, and some really sweet family moments. On the whole I just really enjoyed this story.

I know I will be looking forward to reading more of  Cheyenne McCray's work. It doesn't seem to matter what genre she writes in, she writes one really awesome storyline that totally keeps me entertained. I have really enjoyed this Riding Tall series and I look forward to reading more of these books as well. Honestly I'm looking forward to reading what ever Ms. McCray has out next as well.

I was given the opportunity to read this book so that I may share my thoughts with you. As always it has been my great pleasure to share my thoughts with you on Belong To You.

Made for You by Cheyenne McCray ~Riding Tall #8 ~ Review ~

Made for you by Cheyenne McCray left me with the feeling of "Oh my goodness what more could I ask for in a book?!?" There is drama, suspense, and some nice steamy scenes. This is my kind of book!

Detective Kelley Petrova is a strong independent woman that has been through a LOT in her life. She has taken her childhood experiences and found a way to help people in similar circumstances. When Kelley ends up on a case way too similar to her past she won't let anything stop her from finding the people responsible. Even a gunshot wound and time off isn't enough to stop her from helping solve this case. Kelley is one determined woman. I have to say I really admired Kelley. This woman is a strong and brave woman that can hold her own in any situation. If I was in trouble I know I wouldn't mind having her with me.

Detective Reese McBride has a history similar to Kelley's however, his story has a better ending. He feels a strong connection to Kelley but when she is hurt the connection grows stronger. They start to develop feelings that neither realized was there. I really enjoyed watching these two explore their new feelings for each other. They certainly have plenty of chemistry, oh my! Reese is a determined man when something goes wrong. He will not let anything happen to Kelley. He does everything in his power to make sure she is safe. I wouldn't mind having Reese in my corner when the going gets tough either.

I don't want to tell you too much about the drama in this book. I sure would not want to spoil the story for you. I will tell you that it kept me on the edge of my seat and I hated to set the book down when I had to. Trust me, I only set it down when I absolutely had no choice. I could not wait to see what could possible happen next.

I have now had the pleasure of reading a couple of books by Cheyenne McCray and I have thoroughly enjoyed both books and I can not wait to read more of her work. The good news for me is that I have a couple more of her books in my to be read pile. I can't wait to get to them!

If you enjoy a very dramatic suspense story with plenty of steamy scenes then I think you should check this one out. I think you will enjoy it. I know I certainly did. This is part of the Riding Tall series, however I have not had a chance to read the previous books. I don't think you would have any problem reading this book as a stand alone, I know I certainly did not. However after reading this book I know I would love to read the previous books. I am sure they are as awesome as this book.

I was given the opportunity to read this book so that I may share my thoughts with you. As always is has been my pleasure to share my thoughts on Made for You
