The man she should want, or the man she craves…
This time, all bets are off...
Penelope Carson loves to steal clients from Will Reaver. Yet something in her business nemesis's icy blue eyes makes Penelope...nervous. It certainly doesn't help that the man is the living embodiment of a Norse god. A controlled, powerful Norse god. Which she really should have remembered before she made a bet with him—because losing means becoming Will's personal submissive for a week.
There's nothing Will would like more than to have Penelope kneeling before him in complicit submission, her fiery dark eyes inviting him in. Challenging him. But their bet takes Will and Penelope deeper than either of them have ever been. Where control is an illusion, and boundaries are pushed aside. And where hearts become the stakes in a game that neither Dominant nor submissive can win…

Excerpt from BETTING ON FATE by Katee Robert
“Thank you.”

“For what?” She sighed at the first contact of his hands on her skin, spreading the balm into the area he’d taken to with the flogger.

“For…” For not despising him for accidentally taking things too far. For not throwing his weakness in his face as he deserved. For turning around and offering her submission in a priceless gift. “For everything.” He went over her back, taking the time to massage the tight muscles along her shoulders and neck, and then working his way down her spine to the flare of her waist. It was only when she was limp and making little moaning sounds that he pressed a kiss to the small of her back. “Turn over, pet.”

She responded immediately, rolling onto her back and spreading her legs. If he couldn’t see the desire gleaming between her thighs, all he had to do was take one look at her expression. Need was written across her face, need he was only too happy to fulfill.

“Good girl.” He used his fingers to part her and flicked her clit with his tongue. She whimpered, so he did it again.

“Your taste drives me to distraction.”

She moaned, but then her fingers were in his hair, tugging him upward. “Kiss me.”

Will was only too happy to grant that demand. He crawled up her body and kissed her, letting his weight sink onto her a little. She ran her hands down his sides, and that feeling of being touched, of her fingers against his skin, had him closing his eyes. He kissed her again to mask his response, but he couldn’t help growling against her mouth when she lightly raked her nails down his back. “Harder.”

“Yes, Sir.” She obeyed, and he couldn’t stop the uncontrollable jerk of his hips at the sparking of pain she left in her wake.

Condom. He needed a condom now, because he was dangerously close to throwing caution to the wind and slipping inside her. One last kiss and he climbed off her long enough to grab one from the chest at the end of the bed and roll it on. She was on her knees as he moved back to the bed and she met him at the edge of the mattress, kissing him as if she couldn’t stand the distance between them any more than he could.

He lifted her, and she didn’t hesitate to wrap her legs around his waist. Palming her ass, he slid her down his cock, until they were joined as closely as two people could be. She clung to him as he moved her up and down, her movements got more frantic and pressure gathered in his balls, demanding release.

She broke the kiss long enough to say, “God, Sir, that feels so good. You feel so good.” Penelope shifted her grip to his shoulders, her body moving in a wave as she fucked him where he stood. He held her easily, enraptured by the picture she made. And she was his. His.

Sudden Secrets By C. Lee McKenzie ~ Interview ~ Giveaway

Sudden Secrets
By C. Lee McKenzie

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Crystal: C. Lee McKenzie has stopped by today to celebrate the release of Sudden Secrets. Would you share a little bit about yourself with us today?

C. Lee: Sure. My best time is when I’m outside. I’m never happier than when I’m hiking, and that can be in the mountains or along a beach. I’m borderline OCD and that drives my family nuts because I’m always putting things “where they belong.” They love it when I leave the house to hike. Then things they set down stay there for a while.

Crystal: Do you have a favorite scene you would like to share with us?

C. Lee: I had fun writing this one. I guess because it’s a Halloween scene, and that’s my favorite holiday. The I character is Cleo, my MC. Here it is:

The moon was a bit higher now, but it came at us from behind the house, casting us in the shadow of the roof. I was sorry I was the only one wearing white because even in this shadow I stood out. I glanced across the street to my upstairs window, wishing I were there looking back at where I stood. And then it hit me. When I sat in my room and watched this house, I was easily seen. Even when my room was dark like it was now, I could see inside. The walls were white. My desk was white. Oh my God! I wear a white robe.
Rudy was next to me. I could tell he wanted away from that place as much as I did by his rapid shifting from one foot to the other.
Ethan and Stacy pressed their faces against one window, their hands cupped around their eyes, not moving. Then Ethan quietly crab-walked his way to the front door and grasped the doorknob.
My heart wasn’t pumping blood anymore. It was pumping pure adrenaline, and it was all I could do not to bolt across the street, down the luminary path and into my house. Rudy took my hand, and crunched my knuckles, but I didn’t have the air in my lungs to tell him to ease off.
When Ethan twisted the doorknob the old metal lock ground inside the jamb, but the door didn’t open.
I exhaled, and my breath steamed into the chilled night air.
Stacy came down to be with Rudy and me, but Ethan hopped off the end of the porch where the railing was missing and signaled us to follow him to the back.
I couldn’t believe I was obeying, but on frozen sandaled toes, sandwiched between Lily Munster and a terrified vampire, I was doing just that.
As we came to the back of the house, Ethan was already at the door, trying to open it. It didn’t budge, so again he pressed his face to a window to look inside.
“What’s in there?” Stacy whispered.
He looked back at us, over his shoulder, then stepped to the side. “You gotta see this for yourselves.”

Crystal: Where did you come up with the idea for your current release?

C. Lee: This story came from three separate and totally unrelated notes in my notebook.
One note was about the designer, Balenziaga. I wrote: “Why do [his models] all look dead?
The next note was about a vacant house I stumbled on in one of my walks. I wrote: “What would it be like having to be locked up inside that place?”
The last note came after a tragic accident when a child was killed. “How do you put your life together after such a terrible thing happens to you?”
At some point those came together to make Sudden Secrets.

Crystal: What are you currently working on?

C. Lee: I just started a new YA. I’m kind of stuck with this one because it tends to go dark on me every time I work on it. I want it dark, but I want it to offer more, so I’m struggling that. I’m thinking of calling it Senseless.

Crystal: Do you have any special routine that you follow when you are writing?

C. Lee: Not really. I have routine in all other aspects of my life (I’m on the verge of OCD, remember), but not this one. The closest I can come to a routine is that I write mostly in the early morning. If a story’s really working, I’ll start at 3 to 4AM, take a break, return to the work in the afternoon to read what I wrote in the morning.

Crystal: Did you have to do a lot of research for this book or any other? If so do you have a fascinating fact that you have learned you would like to share with us?

C. Lee: I did some research about the 60’s for Sudden Secrets. It was fun to go back and look at the hairstyles and clothes, especially the haute couture. And I found out why Balenziaga’s models all looked dead. He didn’t allow them to smile or show any expression. He said that would distract from his designs!
The second wave of feminism was a big news item of that era, too with books like Feminine Mystique (1963) and the Single Girl (1962). I checked these out at the library. Interesting.

Crystal: Who are some of your favorite authors that you like to read?

C. Lee: I’m a big fan of S. E. Hinton. Dated as some of her books are, they’re still great at capturing the angst of the teen. For pleasure, I love reading anything by Margaret Atwood and Barbara Kingsolver.  There are others, but then you don’t need my whole list.

Crystal: Is there any genre you haven't written that you would like to try?

C. Lee: I think I’d like to go for historical fiction. But that scares me because, while I love to read it, I’m not confident about writing it. I know it would require a lot of research, but I love research. And there’s the problem. I’m afraid I’d get lost in reading “about” a period and never get down to writing the story.  Still it’s in the back of my mind.
Thanks for asking these questions. I enjoyed answering them.

Excerpt:

It had been a terrible and very long journey from that tragic Christmas to now, and I couldn’t think about losing another one of us. We’d each done all we could to live without Aziza.
Dad went as far away as possible from where the accident happened. Mom sold our    house and moved us to a new town. Still, we weren’t over that December day.
Mom buried herself in her work for long hours.
Grandpa pulled into himself, wearing that glazed look he’d adopted before the funeral.
I was almost sure he’d wear that look for the rest of his life. He loved Aziza. And what wasn’t there to love? Beautiful golden girl, my mom called her, forever poking her four-year-old nose around the corner daring any of us to chase her. Teasing, begging for attention, which we gave because we couldn’t resist her…
Grandpa loved my sister a lot. I was afraid he loved me very little now.
I wasn’t so fond of myself, either. I shut out all of my Buena Vista friends and started running alone.
From the window over the kitchen sink I watched Nefertiti as she sat on the step, preening in a sunny spot around the back of the house. I went out to sit with her, stroking her fur and surveying the weedy backyard that Mom hadn’t had time to think about. She kept saying she planned to hire a gardener, but there was always something that derailed that plan. In September, it was the new show at the museum that she had to set up by October. She was in charge of staging the Egyptian pieces coming on loan, but she was shorthanded and putting in extra time to make up for only having two assistants. It was going to be a while before the toilet and other debris disappeared.
It was all too depressing to look at, so I walked around to the front and for a minute glanced at the windows of the house across the street. I almost expected to see someone staring out at me. I couldn’t shake the creeped out feeling I got every time I looked at that place.
I knelt to check my laces, and then I was racing down the street, hoping to shed old fears, old thoughts . . . at least for a while. I was at the end of the block, deciding which way to turn, when I spotted Grandpa. I went in the opposite direction, so neither one of us had to pretend that everything was all right since that letter from Dad.
The high school was only four blocks away––one of the reasons, Mom said, she chose this location. It also had one of the best academic ratings in the valley. Another reason she told me she zeroed in on our cozy cul-de-sac.
When I reached the school, I stared up at the two-storied building where I’d spend my last two years of high school. Then what? Junior college, or a job at K-Mart? I worried that I’d bomb on my SAT’s.  I’d bombed on almost everything, hadn’t I? My grades, my friends––being a sister.
I walked up the stone path, leading to the main doors, imagining that first day here, my stomach balling up with worry just on the edge of dread. That first day was going to be the worst.
Off to my right, a thick oak sheltered tables with benches, so I jogged across the lawn and sat on the wooden slats and thought about how it was going to be when school started. Everything new. Everything different. The stares all newbies get. Nobody would know who I was or why I was here. They wouldn’t know my mom was famous for her books on Egypt, or that my dad was an archeologist—the one people called when they dug up important ancientanything in the Middle East. But they’d know something was different about me the minute they heard my name. Cleopatra wasn’t on any baby name list they’d ever read. Neither was Aziza, but she was too little for her name to embarrass her. She’d only just learned what it meant. Precious. And she was that. She was.
A breeze brushed my cheek and I shivered. I thought I’d gotten over feeling that chill, but the healing process wasn’t just slow, it was uneven, too. Sometimes Aziza was only a whisper inside me, and then her image would spring from around the corner just like she used to, full of mischief and giggles. Then there would be that moment when the memory of the chilled air of our old entryway blasted across my face.
Stop it.
I jumped to my feet and jogged to the track behind the high school as fast as I could. I didn’t have a devil at my back, but I had a tiny ghost that shadowed me when I stayed still for very long.

Interview:

Crystal: Today I have the pleasure of hosting Emelle Gamble. She has so kindly agreed to answer a few questions. Welcome Emelle! I always love when you have a chance to stop by and share your work with us.  Would you share a little bit about yourself with us today?

Emelle: I’ve been a writer since I first thought the words, “what if….?”, which I think happened very early on. I am a California girl who now lives in the greater Washington DC area, happily married for over 30 years, and the joys of my life are my two children and their families, writing, and Bella and Lucy, two orange rescue cats who make me laugh everyday.

Crystal: What are you currently working on?

Emelle: I am just about done with a romantic suspense novel called KISS ME TWICE. It’s about memory and love and change. It’s a return to my roots, as I started writing romantic suspense with Harlequin in the 1990s.

Crystal: Where did you come up with the idea for either your current release or the WIP you are working on now?

Emelle: A book I’ve finished but not yet published is called THRILL GIRL. It’s a noir mystery, which takes place  in Los Angeles in 1951. I grew up in the LA area, worked there, and the atmosphere of the Wilshire Blvd. and 6 Street Area always felt like a movie set to me. Celebrity sightings, beautifully dressed women, big cars. It inspired me to do a big book with those elements…and a couple of more. Think Bogie and Bacall and noir intrigue.

Crystal: Do you have a favorite snack that like to munch on while writing? If so would you mind sharing what it is with us?

Emelle: I’ll eat anything salty when I’m writing, which I’m sure is the worst thing you can do, because then you just want to drink. And sometimes, depending on the writing, you want to drink wine instead of water, and then the writing gets weird. HA! Too much information?

Crystal: Do you have a favorite scene you would like to share with us?

Emelle: Here’s one from KISS ME TWICE…

Jill scanned the mail as she stopped in the kitchen. Two bills. A letter from the community college where she taught. A thick packet from Friends House addressed to ‘Gill Farrel’.
There was also a heavy cream paper envelope, addressed correctly. The return address said Pandora Security, with a Beverly Hills address.
“Crap.” Jill went back and checked the locks on the front door, then flipped on the kitchen light and turned on the tea kettle.
She sat and opened the envelope. Inside the single sheet was handwritten.
Hello Jill.
Andrew said he spoke to you but that you weren’t very glad to see him. This doesn’t surprise me.
However, it is imperative I speak to you. There is an important matter we must discuss before the reunion begins.
Call me tonight.
I am happy to hear you are teaching, and so sorry to hear about your mother. -Grace Denton

A cell phone number was printed carefully below her signature.
“Crap,” Jill repeated. She stuck the letter back in the envelope and stared at it. There’s no stamp. Which meant someone other than the post man had stuck it in her mailbox today while she was out.
The tea kettle hissed and a chill skittered down her back. A second later the doorbell rang. Jill nearly jumped out of the chair. She put her hand to her throat. This isn’t a horror movie. Get a grip.
She got up to answer the door as her anger flared.
If it was Andrew again she was going to have him arrested for postal felonies, or whatever the crime was for people messing with other people’s mailbox.
And if it’s Grace?
Jill blinked and hit the front porch light and looked through the peephole. Please don’t be Grace.
It wasn’t. There was a man on her front porch.
He wore a dark sports coat and jeans. Relaxed and in profile, he was looking out at the street instead of at the door. His dark hair was long and curled around his collar.
It wasn’t Andrew Denton.
It was a man she had not laid eyes on for fifteen years, but Jill realized instantly she would recognize the curve of his face as long as she lived.
It was Max Kallstrom.

Crystal: Since we have just celebrated so many of the winter holidays, do you have a favorite holiday? It doesn't have to be a winter holiday.

Emelle: I hate winter. There, I said it, and I mean it. I’m a California girl and I do not like snow, sleet, freezing rain, bare trees or cold win. Hence, I’m not a huge fan of holidays occurring in this weather, although since my son was born on Christmas Day, I’d have to say that is my favorite.

Crystal: When you are not busy writing wonderful stories to keep us lucky readers entertained, what do you like to do? Do you have a hobby?

Emelle: No. I write. Barely keep up with everything else. Can hardly do any reading for fun. The closest I get to a hobby is watching Property Brothers on HGTV, which I do to unwind after that night’s writing.

Crystal: Do you have a favorite background noise you like to have going while you write (TV, Music, kids playing)?

Emelle: Nope. Need quiet. But I’ll play Bob Dylan for inspiration.

Crystal: Thanks for visiting. I always adore having you on my blog. Can you think of anything else you would like to share with us today?

Emelle: Thank you so very much for having me Crystal. I love your blog. You always ask interesting questions, and do such a service for readers and authors. Thank you for your love of books and writers…we all love you back! Now readers, tell me, what’s your favorite part about a romantic suspense novel…the plot or the relationship?

Molly Harper is a movie star who fans think ‘has it all’. Cruz Morales is Molly’s true love, and he hates the media intrusions into their life. Molly and Cruz are going to have a baby. And throw a secret wedding for her brother Harry. What could go wrong? Read DECEMBER WEDDING, the sequel to DUETS and MOLLY HARPER, and find out if there really is a happy ever after for Molly and Cruz.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
EXCERPT:

“Hello, Dr. Morales,” a woman called out.

Cruz stopped and looked to his right. In the side yard, at a small teak table where the gardener did the potting, a dark haired woman sat smiling at him. She was glossy and pretty, wearing an acid yellow dress. He recognized her from the TV.

The reporter. Diane something.

“Hi.” He walked over and extended his hand. “Call me Cruz.”

“Nice to meet you, Cruz. I’m Diane Kinsey.” They shook hands.

“I know. Have you finished with the interview?” He let his arms relax at his side, aware the woman was cataloguing everything about him. Dusty jeans. Old boots. Hair that needed cutting. Good thing she can’t see the titanium plate in my skull, he thought.

“Just about. The crew is doing some lighting work, but I’m done grilling your lady, until tomorrow. I’m sure you’re relieved to hear that.”

Cruz’s neck tightened at the woman’s use of ‘your lady’. “Very relieved.”

“I wanted to be the first to tell you that we made some news today. Molly acknowledged that you’re her baby daddy. She said she’ll confirm you are the father when we film the final interview,” Diane said. “I guess congratulations are in order.”

“She did?” All his defenses went up. Molly warned himt she might give the news to the press, but he wondered if the woman was trying to trick him.

“Scout’s honor.” Diane stood and crossed her heart quickly and then held-up her hand. “You already have a child, don’t you? Jesse, is it? Does he live with you and Molly?”

“I’m not answering questions about my son,” Cruz said.

“Oh, okay. Sorry.” She smiled brightly. “I just asked for background, to fill out the story in my mind. I know you never married Jesse’s mother…” she paused, “did you?”

“Oh come on, it’s public record. I could check.”

“Be my guest.” Cruz narrowed his eyes. “But keep my son out of your story.”

“Oh, of course. I already promised Molly I would. I’m a mother myself, and I understand how you both feel.”

Cruz crossed his arms across his massive chest. He knew his size and the scar that ran along the left side of his face were intimidating to people. Sometimes it bothered him.

Today it didn’t.

He waited.

Diane took a deep breath. “I am a little bit upset, however, that Molly won’t admit that the wedding she’s having here next weekend is yours. That would be such fun news for her fans to share!”

Cruz cracked the knuckles on his left hand and stared at the journalist. “We’re not getting married next weekend.”

“No?” Diane smiled provocatively. “Would you tell me if you were?”

“No.”

“Well then, can you tell me who is getting married here? Bake Glory bakery swears they’re delivering a wedding cake next Friday. And Lana Del Ray’s people say she’s singing at a private engagement in Montecito during Thanksgiving weekend. So someone important is getting married around here.”

Diane laughed. “You’ve got that down, Cruz. Care to wager how many times you’ve had to say that since Molly divorced Ben Delmonico?”

“Too many.” His voice was harsh, too harsh, Molly would chide. The woman had flinched at his tone and volume.

Cruz cleared his throat, reminding himself that since he’d  recovered from the accident, the anger he felt at the invasion of his privacy had to be controlled. He just had to slow his brain down, relax.

Molly could handle these jackals, but so could he. He just had to remember not to get emotional. “It was nice to meet you, Diane. Do a great job with your story. Molly worked very hard on her new movie, and she’s excited to be talking about it. I’d like you to remember, if you can, that she tires easily these days.”

“Of course I will. You love her very much, don’t you?” Diane took two small steps closer and crossed her arms over her chest. “It’s written all over you. I’m happy to see that, too. Molly suffered so much these past couple of years, thanks to that snake she was married to. She deserves to finally have a man like you.”

Cruz didn’t believe the woman cared at all about Molly. She was baiting him. He wasn’t going to bite and give her a quote about his feelings for Molly that she would cheapen by sharing with the world.

“Have a good day.” Cruz nodded and began to walk away.

“Cruz, is it by any chance Molly’s brother who is getting married next Friday?” Diane asked suddenly.

Cruz turned slowly and stared at her. “What brother?” It was the wrong thing to say, he realized too late.

“Molly said she was hosting a family event. But she doesn’t have much family, does she? So if it’s a wedding…”

Cruz blinked, but said nothing.

“When she said that, it didn’t make any sense to me. Because her only brother, Jason, is already married, right? Does Molly have another brother we don’t know about?” Diane’s green eyes glowed.

Blurb:

The adventure that Rita Holly began in The Mount in London and Nick Chase took up in Vegas continues when a sizzling encounter on a flight to Rome has journalist, Liza Calendar, and perfumer, Paulo ‘The Nose’ Delacour, in sexy olfactory heaven. The heir apparent of Martelli Fragrance, Paulo wants Liza’s magnificently sensitive nose to help develop Martelli’s controversial new line. Paulo has a secret weapon; Martelli Fragrance is the front for the original Mount, an ancient sex cult of which he is a part, and Paulo plans to use the scent of sex to enhance Martelli’s Innuendo line. As Liza and Paulo sniff out the scent of seduction, they become their own best lab rats. But when someone steals the perfume formulas and lays the blame at Liza’s feet, she and Paulo must sniff out the culprit and prove Liza’s innocence before more is exposed than just secret formulas.

Excerpt:

‘People are looking. We should stop.’ Liza barely got the words out before he leaned in just a tiny bit further and, in his enthusiasm, his lips brushed hers. Everything spiked in a sharp stab of scent that settled right between her legs, as they both gasped and sat back, eyes wide, fingers pressed to lips. A flight to Paris was called over the intercom immediately after one to Frankfurt and, in the jostling and shifting and gathering of belongings, no one was paying any attention to them. Though she wasn’t sure it would have made any difference even if they’d suddenly been center stage. Their gaze locked on each other, cheeks flushed, chests heaving, they sat locked in a moment so tight, so full that its breaking apart was inevitable. It was ridiculous. She was seconds away from coming, and his cock was about to burst his trousers and his lips, my god his lips, she could think of so many places on her body she wanted those lips.
‘I have to know,’ he gasped. ‘Surely you want to know too.’ Then he did the unthinkable. He curled his fingers into the back of her hair and pulled her to him. This time their lips met with a clash of teeth and a gasping swallow of oxygen that transitioned into parted lips and darting tongues and an absolute explosion of scent. If he had smelled amazing by himself, if his scent had sharpened hers to the cutting edge of orgasm, then the mixing and blending that happened when they touched, when those two scents came together was shattering. ‘I’ve never smelled anything like it,’ she breathed into his mouth.
‘Me neither,’ He bit her lower lip and tugged and their blended smell became darker, more spicy, tones of earth and sea, pepper and honey and my god the guy could kiss!
She came first with a guttural grunt that began deep in her center and washed over her like a riptide. She tried desperately to hide it, but he knew it. He felt it, she even thought he smelled it, and he tightened his fist in her hair, breathing her into his open mouth. Both his hands then slid to her shoulders in a grip that was almost painful as he pulled back, his gaze locked on hers, and his whole body convulsed, and again, and again, his deep mocha gaze holding her tight as pupils dilated and eyelids shuddered.
For a moment they sat stunned, staring at each other, struggling to catch their breath. He looked shell-shocked, and she must have looked at least as bad. ‘I’m sorry,’ they both said at the same time as they mirrored each other in a nervous laugh.
Then the intercom called the flight to Rome. ‘That’s my flight,’ she gasped, suddenly awash in a wave of embarrassment. She grabbed her bag and her laptop and fled, feeling certain everyone was watching, feeling certain everyone knew exactly what they had done. She left quickly, babbling on about duty free and gifts, sounding like a total idiot. It didn’t matter though, at the end of the day, she’d never see the man again. And she’d never smell him again. That saddened her.

The Librarian by Madison Sevier ~ Review ~

I have had the pleasure of reading a few books by Madison Sevier now and I have really enjoyed each one.

The Librarian is a really awesome short story about a very naughty librarian. Ms. Milan is just not your average librarian. That is unless your librarian is willing to do "WHATEVER" it takes to help you complete your task. This librarian is willing to go to extremes to help her patrons get their papers or research done. She has a tendency to quickly heat things up. I have a feeling if her office could write a book that it would scorch the shelves of the library. If only that office or couch could write!

If you are looking for a fun steamy story to read before bed, oh my grab this one! I received this book one night and I had intentions of just making sure it loaded to my Kindle. I found myself engrossed in this fun and steam ready quickly. I was to the end of the story before I stopped reading. I couldn't wait to see what Ms. Milan was going to do next.

I hear that we have the chance to read more about Ms. Milan in another book by Madison Sevier. It's called Long Over Due. I have it in my to be read pile and I will be reading it soon.

I have to say that Madison Sevier has a great talent for creating fun characters that really do like to have a good time. I really enjoyed this quick read and I can't wait to see what Ms. Sevier has in store for us lucky readers next.

I was given the opportunity to read this great story so that I may share my thoughts with you. As always it has been my great pleasure to share my thoughts with you on The Librarian.

A Christmas of Coal and Mistletoe by Bobbi Romans ~ Review ~

I'm a little late getting this review wrote.  Even though this has a Christmas theme I think I could read it at any point during the year and truly enjoy it. I love Christmas stories and honestly I could read them any time of the year. I hope even though Christmas is over for this year you will consider picking up a copy of A Christmas of Coal and Mistletoe. I think you will enjoy it.

I have just recently discovered Bobbi Roman's work and I have to say I need to read more, lots more! This talented lady has a way of adding in a whole lot of humor, steam, and heart warming moments to a great storyline.

A Christmas of Coal and Mistletoe is the the story of a married couple (Dan and Cathy) that have hit a slump in their relationship. Dan surprises Cathy with a Christmas trip filled with lots of  time alone and oh my some steamy moments. Cathy is having the time of her life and really enjoying the special attention from her husband.

Dan has a secret that he really doesn't want to reveal and he just wants to get things back on track with his wife. He really loves his wife but has made a mistake. There are certainly times in this story when I wanted to hand Dan a big ole chunk of coal for what he did. OK maybe more then hand it to him, maybe chuck it at him would be a better way of describing how I felt at times. At other times I just wanted to applaud him for his unbelievable thoughtfulness for Cathy.

I found an instant connection with Cathy and Dan and loved reading their story. There are a few twists and turns that certainly showed up unexpectedly. There were a few moments that had me holding my breath wondering what was going to happen next. Then there were tears of happiness and joy when my heart was completely overwhelmed with joy for this couple.

If you enjoy humor, some oh so steamy moments, a little trouble and conflict, a few suspenseful moments, and a huge amount of joy then you should grab your own copy of this story.

I was given the opportunity to read this great story so that I may share my thoughts with you. As always it has been my great pleasure to share my thoughts with you on A Christmas of Coal and Mistletoe.
