Excerpt:

“Dance with me.”
His hands were around her waist already.
“What does dancing have to do with trust?”
A Rascal Flats country ballad was playing in the background. The twangy song had a slow, steady beat. She swayed back on her heels, a bit dizzy.
One of his hands moved around her back, and he gently pulled her against his body.
Her arms instinctively looped around his neck, and her cheek found his. The roughness of his five o’clock shadow scraped her cheek. She licked her lips, pressing into him just a little more. This exercise in trust was getting way out of control, but she couldn’t bring herself to pull away. She couldn’t remember the last time a man had held her this way. She couldn’t remember the last time she’d wanted a man to do more. She couldn’t remember the last time she’d let herself go like this.
“Now tell me what you hear.” His voice had a rougher edge to it.
The out of control beating of my heart.
“Rascal Flats, and your voice.”
He continued whispering in her ear. “Tell me what you smell.”
The alcohol on your breath, and the musky smell of your skin. “Stale beer on the floor.”
“And what do you feel?”
Ohmigod, I feel your big hands sliding down my back. “You touching me.”
“And how does that make you feel inside?”
Dizzy, wet, hungry for you to stop whispering in my ear and use those lips to kiss me instead.
She couldn’t believe the desire controlling her body. Maybe this was why her mother had made so many bad mistakes with smooth-talking men. But her instincts told her Zack was so much more than his silver tongue.
Though, she’d definitely take it...
His hands found the curve of her lower back. With a subtle pressure, he moved her hips into his. He didn’t need any words to show her how he was feeling at this moment. His erection was undeniable. His lips nuzzled her neck, and he pressed her against it. “What do you taste?” he murmured.
She inhaled and pulled back just a little bit. “I still taste the mangosteen.”
“I want to taste it, too.”
He moved his lips up her neck, taking his time, pressing his mouth against her throbbing artery. She let the raw emotion of desire sweep over her. Her hand moved up through his hair, hungry for the feel of him.
His lips brushed hers, making her knees actually go weak, but abruptly he pulled away. “Damn. I promised I wouldn’t do this.”
“What? Are you kidding me?” No more teasing. No more games. No more exercises. She’d had enough. “You aren’t taking advantage of me.” Oblivious to where she was and who might be watching, she pulled him to her, anxious to crush his lips with hers in a way she’d never tried before.
So, this was what it felt like to let yourself go. Passion. It was turning her core into a roaring fire. She’d always kept this feeling bottled up. Why? It felt so damn good.
After a brief hesitation, his lips pressed down on hers— firm and demanding. She opened her mouth to let his tongue mix with hers, and moaned as his grinding erection pushed against her.
Holy cow, she’d never been kissed like this before. She could taste his need, and feel his desire for her, and the rawness of both made her long for even more. She deepened the kiss, pulling him closer still, amazed at herself for being the aggressor, enjoying every damn moment of it. She wanted this kiss to last forever.

Fresh Fiction had this to say about ALIVE AT 5:

"What a Treat: Great Characters, a Clever Plot, and Extreme Adventures!"

“ALIVE AT 5 is extremely well written, fast paced, and what a joy it was to experience, even vicariously, skydiving, scuba diving, and swimming with sharks! Ms. Bond has crafted a superior romantic suspense, and Sam, Zach, and Sam's cameraman George make such a fine team, I dare hope it's the beginning of a series! No chance of dozing off while reading ALIVE AT 5!”

Linda Bond has a new release coming out soon called Cuba Undercover!

Check out the exclusive book trailer here!

His revenge will change her life forever...

Cuban-American TV reporter Rebecca Menendez's success comes from playing by the rules. When she's kidnapped by a fierce and intensely handsome man who needs her help, however, all of those rules seem pointless. Nothing could have prepared her for being taken hostage...or the irresistible reward if she complies: information about her long-thought dead father.

Antonio Vega has spent almost every day of his adult life dreaming of revenging his father's death. With his sister's life and freedom in jeopardy, Antonio isn't taking any chances. But once Rebecca and Antonio are in Cuba, they're immersed in a world of corruption, deceit, and betrayal. It's a deadly game...and there are no rules.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Here is a never before scene excerpt from Cuba Undercover featuring Zach and Samantha from Alive at 5!

“Nicely done.” Zack Hunter was right beside her, tall as hell and commanding in his presence. “Sam sent me over to rescue you. But once again, looks like you can get out of an uncomfortable situation without much help.” He grinned down at her.

Zack’s confidence reminded Rebecca a lot of Antonio’s strength and power. Her heart fluttered at the thought of Antonio. But Zack was a more flirty kind of guy, winking and grinning, very unlike Antonio, who was always so intense and serious.

“Thanks.”

“We’re over here.” Zack gestured toward the door to another room.

“Did you have a chance to check on the case for me?” Her cheeks heated. She knew she shouldn’t be putting Sam’s fiancé on the spot. He was an agent for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and could get in trouble for talking to a reporter about information in an active case.

Instead of looking pissed, Zack just smiled. “Yes.”

Yes, and? “I know I shouldn’t ask you, but…”

“You’re going to anyway.” Zack winked at her. “Sam warned me you would. Here’s what I can tell you. Off the record, of course.”

“Of course.”

“The FBI’s kidnapping case is still open.” Zack casually led her through the crowd, nodding as they passed people, looking cool and in control. No wonder Sam lived for this guy. “Since we can only assume the other kidnapper, the one caught on tape throwing you in the van here in Tampa, is dead in the waters of Cuba, and Antonio Vega is still in Cuba, the FBI’s case will remain open for a while, but I wouldn’t worry about it.” Zack’s eyes crinkled at the corners. “You were clearly the victim in all of this.”

Was I? She exhaled. “Well, right, I’m not in trouble. I just don’t want Antonio to be either.”

Zack stopped dead in the middle of the room. “Really?”

Now her checks were flaming. One thing she’d left out of her documentary was her growing attraction to and relationship with Antonio. “Well, he has a family here now to support and…” In fact, she hadn’t shared all the details with Sam, either.

Zack threw up a hand. “Then your friend should stay in Cuba where our federal law officers have no jurisdiction.” Shaking his head, Zack motioned for her to move through the door first. “The man still masterminded a kidnapping that resulted in a murder.”

“He didn’t kidnap me, Zack.” Rebecca wished she had proof of what happened to both Ignado and Antonio, but even Esmeralda hadn’t been able to get info from inside Cuba. Rebecca furrowed her brow, a slight headache coming on.

“You okay?” Sam walked up, handing Rebecca a much-needed glass of white wine. “You look stunning in your Alexander McQueen.”

“Oh, right.” Rebecca glanced down at her black rented gown. “Thanks.” She’d forgotten how excited she’d been to wear it here tonight. That was before her trip to Cuba and before Antonio. “I’m fine. Thanks for the wine.” She raised the glass in salute to Sam, Dallas, and Zack, her friends all gathering around her in support. “Salud. To a great night.” She must concentrate on what was good right now.
Friends, fame, and food. Unlike in Cuba, there would always be plenty of food here.

Dallas rolled his eyes. “You get any happier, and that face is gonna fall off.”

She sighed. Dallas nailed her with the truth. Once again. “I’m just feeling a little guilty.” Why not tell Sam the truth, too? “Antonio is probably being roughed up in some Cuban jail cell, skinny and sick.”

She turned to look at the man who would definitely understand. “And Dallas, we’re here, drinking and being celebrated for exposing his poor family on national TV.” There. She’d said it. “And if Antonio ever comes back to America, I’m the reason he’ll probably be arrested.”

Zack Hunter cleared his throat. “You did nothing to seal that man’s fate. He’s a grown man who made his own decisions. You are a victim.”

Maybe in the beginning, but I became a willing participant. And now I miss Antonio. Damn it. She missed every damn thing about him. She especially missed the way Antonio made her question her every decision. He’d forced her to think. He’d been the force behind her growth. And she was a better person now for it. She felt enlightened.

 About the Book:

NwB_1600CEO Michael Anderson might be something of a “control freak.” Still, he’s not quite sure why his therapist thinks dogsitting will fix anything―especially since he and the canine share a kind of mutual loathing. And to make matters worse, a house sitter moves in next door disrupting his peace—and his dates—with the worst possible music at the worst possible time… every time.

Free-spirited artist Mia Argaropolis has settled into the perfect gig—housesitting in NYC’s Upper West Side while working as an art therapist. Too bad she’s stuck living next door to a bossy control freak with a penchant for calling building security when she blasts music to drown out the noises coming through his bedroom wall.

Post-apocalyptic dinner rolls that nearly take her kitchen with them, a douchebag ex, and a Shih Tzu with the personality of Godzilla attack Mia in one day, and her unlikely neighbor comes to the rescue. Like it was her fault. And now, somehow, they find themselves engaged? Both agree, this neighborly feud just got taken to a whole new level.

Excerpt:

“You look beautiful,” he said, leaning against the

support beam of the porch, looking all but edible in his suit and a tie with tiny red specks that matched her dress. He’d planned that out, not doubt. Always the planner.

“It’s all about the dress,” she said.

He caught her elbow and turned her to face him. “It’s about the woman in the dress. The woman I want out of the dress. The woman who is beautiful no matter what she wears,” he added, releasing her arm. “Stop selling yourself short. No pretense. No masks, remember?”

The specks on his tie blurred and she blinked rapidly until her vision cleared. “Yes.” Up this close, she realized the red on the tie wasn’t specks, but the fins on tiny, geometric, interlocking fish—like an Escher painting. Complex and organized, just like the man. Something completely different when observed from a distance than when up close.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Interview:

Crystal: Today I have the pleasure of hosting Mere Joyce. Welcome Mere, I'm so excited to have you here today.  Would you share a little bit about yourself with us today?

Mere: I’m 27, and live in Ontario with my husband and our nine-month-old son. When I’m not writing, I work as a librarian, and when I’m not at work recommending books, I’m usually at home reading them. Of course, I also watch a lot of movies with my husband, especially those in the horror genre - I love the macabre!

Crystal: Do you have a favorite scene you would like to share with us?

Mere: One of my favourite scenes in Blank Canvas is a scene where Maddie and her sister Autumn watch their neighbour Wesley play his cello in a folk-rock band. I love this scene because it’s a moment when Maddie starts to look at the world around her in a different light, particularly in regards to Wesley himself. It’s also a complicated scene, one where the mood shifts quickly, showing how unsteady Maddie’s life is.

Crystal: Where did you come up with the idea for your current release?

Mere: Blank Canvas actually came from a dream I had at the age of fifteen! While most of the story has changed completely since that time, the character of The Painter has remained more or less the same - the dream in which he painted the walls of my room will always stick with me.

Crystal: What are you currently working on?

Mere: Right now I’m working on another YA contemporary which is set in Ontario, about a family mystery and a cottage in summer.

Crystal: Do you have any special routine that you follow when you are writing?

Mere: Not really. Someday I’d love to have an office/library where I can shut the door and dedicate hours to writing. For now, I write whenever, wherever I can, even if it’s only in ten, five, or even two minute increments!

Crystal: Did you have to do a lot of research for this book or any other? If so do you have a fascinating fact that you have learned you would like to share with us?

Mere: Most of the research I did for this story was about painting techniques. I can’t say I learned a single fascinating fact, but I did discover some amazing artists, and I’ve gained a deeper appreciation for other artists I already knew. Like, did you know that Vincent Van Gogh once painted a portrait of a doctor and gave it to him as a gift, but the doctor later admitted he never liked it, and apparently the doctor’s mother hated it so much she used it to patch a hole in her henhouse!

Crystal: Who are some of your favorite authors that you like to read?

Mere: My favourite YA author is Meg Rosoff, but in YA I also enjoy Heather Dixon, Kendare Blake, Rainbow Rowell, and Ann Brashares. I read a lot of classics, too, and my favourite classic authors are Frances Hodgson Burnett, J.M. Barrie, Jane Austen, Edgar Allan Poe, and Arthur Conan Doyle. And in addition to Poe, I quite enjoy Stephen King and Susan Hill in the horror genre.
Honestly, though, I try not to read the same author over and over again (at least not all at once). I like to vary my choices, keeping the authors I enjoy in mind for future reading possibilities!

Crystal:  Is there any genre you haven't written that you would like to try?

Mere: I’d love to write a historical fiction someday. It’s a daunting thought because it’s hard to find the balance between fact and fiction, but when it’s done well, historical fiction can be an amazing way to introduce readers to an era or event they previously knew nothing about. Plus, as time-consuming as it is, research can be a lot of fun!

BLURB:

Three years ago, sixteen-year-old Maddie Deacon was abducted on her way home from her school’s Art Showcase. Five months ago, she escaped the madman she calls The Painter. Before being taken, painting was Maddie’s life. Now, it’s her nightmare.
Maddie wants to forget her years in captivity. She’d rather spend her time getting reacquainted with her parents and her sister, not to mention her cello-playing, beautiful boy next door and childhood best friend Wesley. But paint is everywhere, and tormenting shadows linger in every portrait she encounters.
When the yearly Art Showcase once again approaches, Maddie has the chance to win a scholarship and start planning a future far away from the horrors of her past. She knows she has to make a choice–confront her memories of The Painter and overcome her fear of the canvas, or give up painting forever.

Excerpt:

“Hello, Maddie,” Tim says, taking a sip from his Healing Expressions coffee cup. I’m glad he and Juliet call me Maddie instead of Madison, like Klara does. I’ve gone by Maddie since my days in preschool, and being called it here makes the office seem slightly less institutional.
Of course, it doesn’t make this moment any less awful.
“H-hi,” I stammer, my voice thin. My feet ache as I force them across the threshold. Tim prefers it if I close the door behind me, but I need to see my escape route. Shakily, I cross the room and sit on the bench along the wall of windows that look down over the parking lot. The cushions are soft, bright orange, and there are pink and green and blue throw pillows scattered along the seat. I grab the blue one, and hug it to my chest as I stare at the world on the free side of the glass panes.
It’s a strange sensation, watching the world like this. In elementary school, at recess, I would sit by the fences backing the neighborhood houses. With my head tilted into the cool fall or warm spring breeze, I would close my eyes and picture the people in those houses: people not working, people working from home, people driving the streets or watering their lawns or relaxing in front of the TV, while I remained stuck at school for another several hours. I have the same thoughts now as I gaze over the parking lot, far out to the park, the townhouse complex, and the streets beyond. So many people sleeping, reading, shopping––all while I’m here, trapped behind a wall of glass.
It helps to keep my back to the easel. Slowly, the panic of my arrival subsides, and I take full gulping breaths until I’ve settled into muted unease.
“How are you feeling today, Maddie?” Tim asks. He remains seated. I get antsy if his six-foot-three inch body looms over me.
“I’m fine,” I lie. I’m never fine. Not anymore. But declaring it is like stating the obvious.
“How’s school?” I can hear a smile in his voice. I like Tim’s voice, with its deep, quietly enthusiastic tone. I’m fairly certain I like Tim, too. Or at least I would, if the circumstances were different. If he didn’t have the task of prying, of guiding me into frigid, infested waters every time we meet.
“It’s fine,” I say, shrugging my shoulders.
Tim’s chair scrapes across the floor as he stands. I keep my eyes fixed on the parking lot outside. I’ve found Wesley’s tiny van, and I watch it intently.
Tim approaches, sits on the bench a ways off. “Did you read any papers this week?”
“No.” The tension I nearly shed on the ride over here is creeping back again. I hate therapy. I don’t understand how digging into every unpleasant crevice of my subconscious is supposed to make my life easier.
“How about the news? Did you watch any?” Tim asks, even though I’m already shaking my head.
“Y-You know I didn’t,” I reply, and Tim breathes out, the resulting sound just short of a sigh.
“How many times have you had to avoid his picture?” he asks, and I squeeze the pillow until my fingers are white.
“S-Seventy … S-Seventy-two,” I choke out.
It’s become a habit keeping track of the number of times I stop myself from seeing him. When I go to the drugstore and see the papers lined in a hideous row. When the news comes on, and reporters rehash what happened.
In the beginning, it was far harder. There were articles all over, news stories, constant threats to my sanity. Five months on, most of my count comes from the personal attacks, the times I remember something, imagine something, and his face almost manages to push its way in.
“Good. An improvement on last week,” Tim says, the pleasing smoothness of his voice giving the achievement a more respectable air than it deserves. Last week there were seventy-eight occurrences. Having six fewer episodes means nothing, except Tim is trying to be as positive as possible.
Plus, there’s the phone call to consider. Last week might have been an improvement, but I’m certain my methods of diversion will fail to keep me from replaying the conversation I wasn’t supposed to hear this morning.

Excerpt:

Holy shit, does this guy know what he’s doing in the sack! Or in the bathroom stall, rather.
That was Vivian Blake’s first thought as she watched the video. Watched as he slammed the voluptuous blonde against the wall and drove into her with so much force, it took Viv’s breath away. Though she was watching the X-rated bathroom romp from her iPad—in the privacy of her own home—it didn’t stop the heat from spreading over her chest, up her neck and face, to the tips of her ears. She felt downright pervy watching the footage. The surprisingly clear footage. Yeah, she could see everything. This was no shady production. The picture was clear and sharp, damn near HD. She sank a little deeper under her covers, the cool, crisp sheets brushing against her sensitive skin.
Viv couldn’t help but wonder how she would feel up against that wall. Ah—she squirmed as another wave of warmth rolled in, blanketing her from head to toe, reaching places she hadn’t felt in a long time. It was too much to even think about.
Get your mind out of your pants and focus, Viv.
The tendons in the man’s arms bulged as he held Blondie up, cradling her thighs. It was one of the hottest things she had ever seen. And we were talking arms for fuck’s sake. Once she locked in on his face? Forget about it. The camera was placed overhead so the angle provided Viv with an excellent view of that rugged mug. Piercing blue eyes, strong jaw with the perfect amount of stubble, and plump kissable lips that he used to his full advantage as he brought this unnamed woman to the brink of ecstasy in a bar bathroom.

The guy, however, had a name. A name worth millions. Mr. Bathroom Stall Sex Guy was better known as racing sensation Jarod Cage. And he was a foolish, foolish man.

Our Marriage Contract By Taylor M Fletcher ~ Interview

Our Marriage Contract
By Taylor M Fletcher

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Interview:

Crystal: Today today I have the pleasure of hosting Taylor M Fletcher. Welcome Taylor! I'm so happy to have you here to visit with us today. Would you share a little bit about yourself with us today?

Taylor: Yes and first and foremost, I’m a happy married guy! And I’m not just saying that to be saying that. I’m a guy who feels incredibly blessed for all the little and wonderful things God has offered me in my lifetime.  By trade I’m a Corporate Attorney who again has been blessed with the ability to help my clients prosper and stay out of trouble. I’m a dog parent to a Boxer Beagle mix, named Gemma and married to my best friend. I enjoy a good movie on the couch with my BFF (my wife) or jumping on the motorcycle and grabbing a bite to eat with my wife. My favorite thing besides flea marketing hopping is to get a pedicure alongside my wife, man, those pedicure chairs are great! Other than that, if you strip away the titles, the degrees, the material possession, I’m just your average everyday guy except I found happiness through dealing with my expectations upfront.

Crystal: Do you have a favorite scene you would like to share with us?

Taylor: The most fun part of writing the  book came when I was writing and addresses what I call the Miss”Education” of Romance. How many classes or seminars have you attended that teaches people how to have a better relationship or romance? So although titled Our Marriage Contract and written by a lawyer; I'm happy to say the book has absolutely nothing to do with the court or U.S. legal system. Instead the book actually explains and shows people how their relationship Expectations...Leads to Disappointment....Disappointments Leads to Resentment and Resentment Leads to Failure. Writing the book from an average guy standpoint, who after years of dating and trying to figure why during most of my relationships I was either a hero at times or a big fat zero; even when I tried to do the right thing couldn’t get it right….until I decided to treat a relationship for just what it truly is and use what everybody uses and understands and that’s simple rules…And it worked…And so the RE-Education of Romance begun or as I wrote.

Crystal: Where did you come up with the idea for your book title.

Taylor: The book title comes from actually having a marriage contract, so at the time I thought it was a no brainer. But I have since learned that I should have titled the book “Our Relationship Contract”. Because the book deals with expectations of any relationship and not just marriages so hind sight, if I could go back, I would have definitely choose “our Relationship Contract”. I think the books message maybe lost of people who are not married or have no plans of getting married just because of the title. So the challenge is to educate people on the message with the current name and title, but it’s a challenge, I’ve happily accepted.

Crystal: What are you currently working on?

Taylor: The next project is going to be a book I’m affectionately titling “Grand Opening, Grand Closing” The art of keeping the business lights on.  Here’s an excerpt from Chapter 1 “American Dream”

“GRAND OPENING – GRAND CLOSING” So you're ready to start a new small business. You've looked around and looked around, and decided there was nothing close to what you need, so hey. Why not start a business, right? Sounds logical. People start a small business for several different reasons, of course. One of the most popular reasons, I believe, is financial freedom; they want to gain wealth. The second one is to fill a need. The third is that most small businesses happened to fall into the business itself purely by accident. Before we get ahead of ourselves about starting a business, let's make sure we're on the same page. If you are planning on starting a business, be prepared to do something you love while not getting paid for it for at least a year or more. Yes, you read correctly: I said expect not to get paid for a least a year! Be ready for that to last even longer, because most small businesses don't make money or break even in the first 3-5 years of operations. If that's going to be a problem, starting a business may be a huge issue for you. So let's make sure that your new business hobby is going to be fruitful for you. Before we even think about organizing the business, make sure you have the following in order.

Crystal: Do you have any special routine that you follow when you are writing?

Taylor: No special routines but I did find myself eating grapes and drinking milk, not sure why but it was the food and drink of choice when I was writing.

Crystal: Did you have to do a lot of research this book or any other?

Taylor: Not really, the only research I did was looking at divorce rate information and related depressing stuff on why marriages and most relationships failed. Reading that depressing information, made me more determined not to be a statist. I’m really happy at how the message in the book came out and hopefully it’ll lead to more couples having better relationships.

Crystal: Who are some of your favorite authors that you like to read?

Taylor: Well, because I read for a living, I tend to gravitate to more self-help books and books that help give you an edge in life. My favorite book of all time is by Jessica Dorfman Jones, I won’t say which one, but I’ll say this, the book I’m referring to is super interesting and had me shock, appalled and memorized throughout reading it.
Robert T. Kiyosaki
Jessica Dorfman Jones, and
Stephen Covey

Crystal: Is there a genre you haven't written that you would like to try?

Taylor: No, I think I chose a difficult genre to right about for a first book. I figure if I can successfully get my message out there and it helps just even one person, then I considered my efforts a success and who knows I might even be tempted to right a love novel in the near future. Hey, who am I kidding, a love novel, lol but it sounded good.

About The Book:
NO JUDGES, NO LAWYERS, JUST GREAT COMMUNICATIONS...... Although titled Our Marriage Contract and written by a lawyer; I'm happy to say the book has absolutely nothing to do with the court or U.S. legal system. Instead the book actually explains and shows people how their relationship Expectations...Leads to Disappointment....Disappointments Leads to Resentment and Resentment Leads to Failure.
FROM A MALES PERSPECTIVE......In the book, I'm not writing from an expert or lawyer standpoint. Nope! I wrote the book from an average guy standpoint, who after years of darting and trying to figure why during most of my relationships I was either a hero at times or a big fat zero; even when I tried to do the right thing.
I FINALLY CRACKED THE CODE....So I think. After finally coming to grips that as crude as it may sound; relationships are just like any other of life's fragile unions and in order to be successful there needs to be rules both people must follow to make it work. Now, here's the fun part, part of putting my hypothesis or what I called "cracking the code" to the test, not only did I test and try it out on my then fiancée' and now wife but I tested it on many of my friends who are in relationships or at the early stages of one. To my surprise it worked! Seriously! I was kind of shocked because I'm no Dr. Phil or other relationship expert, I was just a guy who figured it had to be an easier way to get what I wanted out of a relationship, and now I had the answer!

Two years later, Our Marriage Contract "the book" was born and published. I am really happy with the final product because I stayed true to the books mission which was to share my personal experiences and explain in under 65 pages how people can have a great relationship, regardless if they've been in a relationship for 6 months or 6 years, all with just a simple piece of paper. In the book I think women will appreciate The Men's Quick Start Guide (page 17) and men in-turn will surely appreciate The Hostile Love Terms (page 32). In the end both people will know how to simply "ask" for what they not only need but want" in their current or next relationship and have fun doing it! Why? Because, I explain step by step how the process of "getting what you want" requires going to out to dinner along with a few other things designed to bring the couple closer in their relationship. Our Marriage Contract is currently listed on Barnes and Noble, Amazon and Kindle.

Paperback: 68 pages

Here's one of my many Relationship Expectation examples in the book.

Valentine’s Day is coming, so I ask my wife, "Honey what do you want for Valentine's Day"? She candidly replies "nothing ", I then say "are you sure"?, She again says "I'm fine"!. Five days later Valentine Day rolls along and because I didn't get her anything "but " all the ladies in her office are receiving flowers, cards, bears, balloons and flowers...all except my wife. And even when she comes home, there's still no flowers, cards candy etc. Now my wife is extremely disappointed at me but she can't say or show it because remember I did asked her. Instead she's disappointed, now what happens if this continues for years? You guessed it, Expectations leads to Disappointment...Disappointment leads to Resentment...Resentment leads to Failure.... Don't think this can happen, well it does and in the book I explain how to avoid that situation so both people ultimately "get what they want".

Inhibition-X by Bobbi Romans ~ REVIEW

Bobbi Romans became one of my favorite authors the very first time I had a chance to read her work. I enjoy her writing style and creative story lines with unique characters. Inhibition-X is a fine example of Ms. Romans' work.

Heather wins a trip to Inhibition-X island to celebrate the grand opening. Inhibition-X is a new island resort that is designed for visitors to live out their fantasies and fulfill their greatest pleasures. Heather is a little hesitant as to whether she wants to go on the trip or not. Her friends convince her that they should go and enjoy themselves. One of the fun things about the island is that everyone uses a fictitious name so they keep their anonymity.

Once Heather, Beth, Daniel, and Ridge arrive on the island things HEAT up quickly. There is plenty of steam and pleasure to go around. Inhibition-X also contains great humor, a little drama, and just a touch of mystery.

There is a little drama and some tension in the group with a few secret crushes going on. Heather wishes her long time friend and secret crush, Mick was on the island with them. He was unable to make the trip with the group of friends. All the characters are fun and charming. The interaction with within the group is humorous and dramatic at times. I really enjoyed meeting Heather and her friends and reading about their adventure.

Did you check out that awesome cover? I love the cover and the fact that is so fits the storyline. Just looking at the cover brings back fun memories from reading this awesome story.

If you are looking for a fun steaming hot story to enjoy this summer, you should grab a copy of Inhibition-X. Be sure to have a nice cool drink ready then sit back and enjoy the ride.

I hope there is a chance we may hear more about this fantasy island. I have a feeling there are plenty of stories in those themed bungalows and out of the way swimming areas. I sure would not mind hear more about Marquis, the charming host of the island resort. He sounds like one gorgeous man with more stories that are just waiting to be told.

I was given the opportunity to read this great book so that I may share my thoughts with you. As always it has been my great pleasure to share my thoughts with you on Inhibition-X.
