#Review ~ Handsome Boss By Lori Wilde & Liz Alvin ~ @LoriWilde

Handsome Boss (Handsome Devils Book 2) by [Wilde, Lori, Alvin, Liz]
Handsome Boss
Handsome Devils Book 2
By Lori Wilde & Liz Alvin

My Review of Handsome Boss:

I Love Lori Wilde's books. There is just no way I can pick up a Lori Wilde book and not be completely engrossed in the story from page one. Handsome Boss is no exception to the rule. I honestly read this book in one setting in a nice warm bath that turned a little chilly by the end. I couldn't have sat this book down for anything though.

I really enjoyed the first book in the Handsome Devils series. Handsome Boss is just as fabulous. Lori Wilde and Liz Alvin have put together a fabulous series and I'm hooked!

The Barrett brothers have their hands full with a younger sister, Leigh that wants to sow a few wild oats in her youth. She wants to have fun and they want her to be safe. So she has decided if she is going to get a chance to have some fun she needs to get her brothers busy. Oh, boy, does she have plans for them.

Handsome Boss is Nathan's turn to have his world turned upside down by the beautiful friend his sister Leigh has brought home. Emma and Nathan have an instant attraction but both try hard to fight it. Nathan knows that Leigh just might be up to no good and Emma has plans to be somewhere else in the fall.

Leight steps back and watches as Nathan and Emma do their best not to fall hard for each other. They have incredible chemistry, they work well together, they play well together and there is a serious friendship forming with a much deeper connection.

I found an instant bond with Emma. She's sweet, intelligent, independent, a hard worker, and a good friend. She has recently lost her mother and is working on getting to know her father more. However moving closer to her father is going to mean she will have to leave behind Honey, Texas and possibly the love of her life.

Nathan sure isn't looking for love. He's busy with his software company and the new program they want to get the bugs out of and launch soon. He loves his family and adores his sister even when she does her best to stir up trouble here and there. Nathan just may have found the woman he didn't think was out there. His feelings for Emma grow each day and he's not sure if there is a happily ever after for them but he thinks he sure might like to give a try.

There is a lot that these two have to deal with, feelings that must be shared, issues that must be dealt with that all add to just the perfect amount of drama for an incredible read. I can not wait to read the next book in this series. I am always anxious to get my hands on Ms. Wilde's books. They are all enjoyable to devour and leave me wanting the next book NOW.

If you love a sweet cowboy romance then you have to grab this one now. If you are a Lori Wilde fan, like me, you are going to love Handsome Boss.  Grab the others in this series while you are there. You are going to love them too!

I was given the opportunity to read this incredible story and it has been my pleasure to share my thoughts with you.

#Review ~ Handsome Rancher By Lori Wilde and Liz Alvin ~ @LoriWilde

Handsome Rancher (Handsome Devils Book 1) by [Wilde, Lori, Alvin, Liz]
Handsome Rancher
Handsome Devils Book 1
By Lori Wilde and Liz Alvin

My Review:

If you love really good Cowboy Stories then I bet you already have Lori Wilde at the top of your list of must-read authors. If not you really need to check out a few of her books. I think she will quickly go to the top of your list, just like she did mine. Ms. Wilde can write an incredible cowboy story that is hot and steamy or sweet and melty. All of her books are beyond marvelous!

Lori Wilde and Liz Alvin have a new sweet romance cowboy series, Handsome Devils. The first book in the series is Handsome Rancher and is a phenomenal start to what I am sure is going to be a stupendous new series. I can not wait to read the next book in the series.

Chase Barrett doesn't believe in true love or marriage. This guy is just fine staying single and just spending time with his friend Megan Kendall. He is just fine with being best friends. Megan has wanted more though for a while and she's ready to try to show Chase just how she feels. With Chase's sister pulling a few strings, pushing them together, and doing her best to get them both to see their love for each other is more than friendship things get interesting really quick.

Chase and Megan already have a friendship so it was a blast to watch these two finding their way into a new relationship. There is plenty of comedy that truly had me laughing out loud, there is the family involvement which is a bit sweet and a bit naughty, then there is the romance when Chase slowly discovers that he does have more than friendship feelings for Megan and Megan know she loves Chase. This is one of those books that I finished in one sitting because there was NO WAY I could put it down until I found out just what was going to happen with Chase and Megan.

If you love Cowboy stories then you really need to check out Handsome Rancher, if you love sweet romance stories you need to check out Handsome Rancher, or if you just plain love a good story add this one to your list. I truly do not think you will be disappointed. Lori Wilde and Liz Alvin have a phenomenal new series and I know I sure can not wait to see what they have in store for us lucky readers next.

I was given the opportunity to read this fantabulous story and it has been my great pleasure to share my thoughts with you.

#Reivew - A Wedding for Christmas by Lori Wilde

A Wedding for Christmas: A Twilight, Texas Novel by [Wilde, Lori]Some of you may know that Christmas books are my FAVORITE books to read. There is just something about all that holly jolly goodness in Christmas books that I just LOVE. I also adore all Lori Wilde's books. So a Christmas book by Lori Wilde, A Wedding for Christmas, went straight to the top of my to be read pile.

A Wedding for Christmas is a A Twilight Texas book that includes updates on a lot of my friends in Twilight. Gabi and Joe (that we watched fall in love in last Christmas) are getting married this year. Joe's best friend Ryder is coming home for the wedding for the first time in years. Poor Ryder is in for one surprise after another.

Ryder is the typical bad boy of Twilight. Under all that leather clad, rough and tough bad boy exterior lives the boy that didn't have an easy life growing up. He sweet as can be but always veers more towards protecting his heart than wearing it on his sleeve. You can't help but fall for Ryder.

Katie is sweet, kind, independent, loves her family, and has been in love with Ryder since she was a teenager. Katie has been through a lot lately and is working on finding out just who she is. I found an instant bond with Katie. She really is the good girl and wants to be just a little bad for a while.

When Katie and Ryder are together their attraction is magnetic. These two try hard to keep their hands off each other and their feelings to themselves. I loved watching these two try to dance around their feelings while trying to hide their attraction from everyone in town.

I read this book in one setting. The book just would not close I had to keep reading! I had to find out what was going to happen next and if Katie and Ryder were going to be able to work things out and maybe find their happily ever after.

I loved this book. The story line held my attention, the characters are very well written, and it was wonderful to visit Twilight again. I enjoyed my Christmas vacation and my visit with all my friends in Twilight. If you haven't read any of the other books from Twilight never fear, A Wedding for Christmas will stand alone just fine. The other Twilight books are awesome too though. So you may want to pick up a few more with this one.

If you enjoy a small town romance story, are addicted to Christmas stories like me, or are a Lori Wilde fan too then you really need to grab A Wedding for Christmas. I know immensely enjoyed it and I think you will too.

I was given the opportunity to read this wonderful story and it has been my great pleasure to share my thoughts with you.

#Review ~ Keegan by Lori Wilde ~ @LoriWilde

Keegan (Texas Rascals Book 1) by [Wilde, Lori]My Review:

Keegan by Lori Wilde is one of those romance stories that really touched my heart. You may want to grab a box of Kleenex before you settle in to read this incredible story. I know I sure needed a few Kleenex.

Wren Matthew is a strong independent lady with a whole lot on her plate. She has suffered the loss of her parents and the heartbreak of falling for the wrong man. She's not looking to put her heart out there again and it really hesitant to allow another man anywhere near her home or her heart.

Keegan Winslow has suffered a tremendous loss and is on the hunt for the man that caused that loss. He sure isn't looking for love. He is looking for a shelter from the storm for at least a night.

Wren isn't sure how far to trust this strange handsome man but she can't turn him away when he needs help. She helps Keegan when he needs it most. I enjoyed watching these to get to know each other. Neither is ready to open their heart and there is a lot standing in their way if they are going to take a chance on happiness again.

There is the perfect amount of drama, suspense, mystery, romance, and emotions to make this book a page-turner of a story. I finished this in one sitting because I just could not put it down until I found out what in the world was going to happen next.

Lori Wilde has a way with a romance story wheater is a sweet romance, like this one or a steaming hot romance. She is one of my must-read authors and I am always excited to see what she is going to come up with next for us lucky readers. I can not wait to read more books in the Texas Rascals series.

I was given the opportunity to read this fantastic story and it has been my pleasure to share my thoughts with you.

#Review ~ The Christmas Key by Lori Wilde ~ @loriwilde

The Christmas Key: A Twilight, Texas Novel by [Wilde, Lori]Review:

I LOVE Lori Wilde's books and I adore Christmas stories so pardon me for a moment while I bask in the Glee of this fabulous book.  The Christmas Key has all the great things that make a great story. The characters are incredible, the storyline is unique and captivated my attention from the very first page all the way to the end.

Naomi Luther is one of those characters that I could not help but bond with right away. This lady has her plate full because she has such a caring heart and love her family, her community, her job, and most of all her little nephew that is about to be her son due to sad circumstances. She has it all going and sure is not looking for love when she accidentally jumps into the wrong jeep.

#Mark Shepherd has been through war, felt a tremendous loss, and is still trying to figure out what to do with his life. My heart went out to Mark from the moment I met him. He's such a fabulous guy but has so many things he's trying to overcome. When Naomi Luther jumps into his jeep on a busy Christmas shopping day he just may have found exactly what he needs to put his life back on track.

I love the Christmas Kismet Cookie plot of the story. I don't want to spoil too much of the story I'll just say this is such a fun and interesting concept that I loved the story. Naomi and Mark have an instant connection and when Mark ends up working for the Luther family and church they find themselves spending more and more time together. There is a little secret that Mark is carrying around and trying to figure out how to deal with. I loved watching these two get to know each other and I loved that Mark bonded with Hunter. This sweet little boy has lost a lot but is so surrounded in love he's thriving and a healthy little boy.

I love books where the family is involved in the storyline. Naomi's family plays a big role in this story and that just adds so much more to the story. I enjoyed watching the whole family help Mark with his PTSD struggles. They truly take this guy in and make him a part of their family and their community.

This book is just one incredibly Christmas time read. I highly recommend grabbing the Kleenex box before you settle in to read this one. I know I had tears flowing a few times but I also laughed out loud a few times. If you are a fan of Christmas stories like me, you have to grab this book. If you are a fan of Lori Wilde's work and a Christmas story fan then I can almost guarantee you are going to love this book as much as I did.

I can't wait to see what Ms.Wilde has in store for us lucky readers next. I always know it's going to be a great read when I see her name on the cover.

I was given the opportunity to read this fantabulous story and it has been my great pleasure to share my thoughts with you.

Back in the Game by Lori Wilde ~ Stardust, Texas #1 ~ Review

I think I may have found my new favorite book by Lori Wilde. I really enjoyed Back in the Game. This is the first book in her new  Stardust, Texas series

Rowdy Blanton has enjoyed a very successful career in baseball. He's had a great time playing the game playing the field with all the ladies chasing after him. Who wouldn't love this sexy baseball player. He's sweet, charming, and has a great personality that made me instantly like this guy. Rowdy has had some rough times to go along with all the good. He's suffered an injury that has made him stop and take a good look at his life.

Breeanne Carlyle has been through the mill but is on the mend now. This girl has survived though so much even when the odds were against her. Now she has the chance to do what she really wants, write and live a little. Rowdy is just the person to add a little excitement to this girl's life. Breeanne is one of those characters that I formed an instant bond with. She is a sweet girl that would do anything for her family, just as they would do anything for her.

I loved the connection with Breeanne and her family. They are a close knit family that loves each other very much and works well together.

There is also a great friendship between Rowdy and his friend Warwick. These two have a great friendship that gives you a sense of family more then friends. Warwick has Rowdy's back and will stand by him no matter what. He also knows when and how to push Rowdy's buttons to get him moving to do what he should do.

I loved watching Rowdy and Breeanne become friends as they were dealing with the instant attraction they felt for each other. They have a lot obstacles to over come and so many things that are going on.There is plenty of drama to deal with, some family issues for Rowdy, and the fact that Rowdy has always been a playboy. He doesn't plan on settling down with anyone, Ever.

The love scenes between these two are so amazingly sweet and romantic. Lori Wilde has done a great job with Rowdy and Breeanne's story. I have to say I was captivated from the beginning to the end. I had moments of laughter, a few tears, and a moment or two I wanted to scream at Rowdy. Overall though I just really enjoyed Back in the Game. I can not wait to see what Ms. Wilde has in store for us with the rest of the series. I know I will be anxiously awaiting the release of the next book in the Stardust, Texas series.

I was given the opportunity to read this great story so that I may share my thoughts with you. As always it has been my great pleasure to share my thoughts with you on Back in the Game

#Review Million Dollar Cowboy by Lori Wilde

Million Dollar Cowboy took me on a lovely vacation to Cupid, Texas to visit with old friends and meet a few new. Lori Wilde has written yet another fabulous spellbinding story that is impossible to put down.

Ridge Lockhart may have money and power but he's missing something. He just doesn't know it yet. He's a very successful business man and always on the go. His life has been a mess since he was a young child. He's been through the mill and then back again.

His best friend Archer is getting married and Ridge must do the one thing he hasn't wanted to do, return home. His very first view after his plane lands is Kaia Alzate. Kaia has grown up into a sweet beautiful lady that makes Ridge take a second look, maybe a third and fourth too.

Kaia is one of those characters that is sweet but yet has that little touch of sass that keeps everyone including Ridge on his toes. I quickly bonded with Kaia.

Ridge has a few very uncomfortable issues he must deal with while he is home. I won't tell you too much because I would not want to spoil the story for you. He has issues with his father and their relationship is filled with tension, misunderstandings, and mistakes.

Kaia and Ridge have always been friendly since they grew up together. That friendship has turned into a powerful attraction is smoldering and just waiting for the right moment to explode into a fireworks of passion. I liked the friendship between these two that added to their romantic relationship. There are so many things standing in the way of these two being together. One is that Ridge that is just not good with feelings. He's a business man through and through. He has some major decision to make if he might make it to that happily ever after with Kaia.

Million Dollar Cowboy is one of those yummy cowboy stories that I devoured in a short time. I just could not put this book down. There were too many things going on that I had to find out what twist might be next. There is a nice hot romance, friendships that last through all the ups and downs, their is sweet family interaction, and a boat load of family drama. I was held captivated by the story line from the very first page until the very end.

The characters are great and so easy to bond with. I felt their heartaches and their joys. It was great to see family faces from other Cupid, Texas novels. It's always nice to catch up with friends and see what they have been up to since the last book.

If you are a Lori Wilde fan too then grab this story up and start to devour it now. I always enjoy Ms. Wilde's stories. She has a writing style that grabs my attention and a writing voice that  I just can not get enough of.

I was given the opportunity to read this fabulous book and it has been my great pleasure to share my thoughts with you.

Rules of the Game by Lori Wilde ~ Stardust, Texas #2 ~ REVIEW

Rules of the Game is an awesome follow up to Back in the Game. There are both part of the Stardust, Texas series but you will have no trouble reading either of them as stand alone. I think I have found yet another favorite series from the very talented Lori Wilde. I'm loving this series and I can't wait for book three.

This is one of those books I loved so much that I don't know where to start to tell you how much I enjoyed it. Let's start with the sisters.I LOVED Carlyle sisters are so close and from such a loving tight knit family. I love the family interaction in this series. They are all adopted and LOVE each other so much.  I was so happy to catch up with Breeanne and Rowdy. It's always nice to see friends when you are reading a series book.

Jodi Carlyle has been through a lot. Her childhood was not good before she was adopted by the Carlyles. She remembers horrible things she went through as a young child. Then the fool she was about to marry ran off with some bimbo and embezzled money from his company. How could I not help but adore Jodi from the beginning. She tough, strong, independent, a wonderful sister, and very busy business owner.

Jake Coronnado is the new star hitter of the baseball team that Rowdy manages now.  Jake has suffered an unimaginable loss of his wife. The way she was taken from him is so heart breaking. My heart really went out to Jake. His trying to get on with his life and he really didn't feel the urge to do that until he meets the beautiful lady in the green dress.

I love how Jake and Jodi keep meeting in different situations. Their attraction to each other is hot and steamy. The chemistry between these two is wild. Even when they try they can not keep away from each other. Things keep pulling them back together.

These two injured souls just may be able to help each other heal. It's going to take time, patients, and a lot of understanding but they just might be what each other needs.

Can you tell I LOVED this story. I was so engrossed in the story that I read over half the book the day I received it in the mail. That was in between trying to get other things done. I was completely captivated by this fabulous story and I could not wait to see what was going to happen next.

I am so excited to see what Miss Wilde has in store for the other Carlyle sisters. I can't wait to see what they may find with their keys. I don't want to tell too much about that because it's a really great theme to the series.

I know I will be impatiently awaiting the next story in this series. I love Lori Wilde's writing style. She writes fun, charismatic characters that have very dramatic stories to be told. She always has me engrossed in her books in the first chapter and hangs on to my attention all the way through out the book.

I was given the opportunity to read this fabulous story so that I may share my thoughts with you. As always it has been my great pleasure to share my thoughts with you on Rules of the Game.

 Excerpt:

Her inner fan-girl drooled.
Instantly a funnel of humanity swirled toward him, surrounded him, went crazy over him. Breeanne longed to join the rush, but her feet grew roots, anchoring her to the earth. People pushed and shoved to get at him, especially the women, as they all shouted at once.
“Rowdy, Rowdy can I have your autograph!”
“We love you Rowdy!”
“I want to bear your children!”
“I wanna get rough and Rowdy with you!”
The driver of the SUV, a big bald beefy bodyguard-type moved people aside, lining them up like he’d done this a million times. Once he had everyone somewhat organized, he took a box of baseballs from the vehicle and started passing them out to excited kids.
While Bodyguard Dude handled crowd control, Rowdy stood beneath a security light, signing autographs, shaking hands and clapping backs. His laughter burst the dawn, warm and friendly.  He wore a baseball cap embroidered with the logo of the Stardust Drillers, the local high school baseball team cocked jauntily on his head. Tight fitting Levi jeans hugged muscular thighs, and a simple white T-shirt accentuated his tanned skin. He moved with the impertinent, nimble-limbed strut of a man fully at ease with life.
She couldn’t take her eyes off him. What she wouldn’t give to be one of those kids again.
Rowdy glanced up, and stared through the crowd.
Heated estrogen cruised Breeanne’s veins, settled deep in her pelvis. Her stomach pinched, and her heart gave a funny stutter that had nothing to do with the medication she was on. Soon, she’d be able to go off even that, prescription free for the first time in her twenty-five years.
For one heartbeat of a second their eyes met. Full on freight-trains-on-the-same-track-speeding-straight-toward-each-other collided. Bam.
Oh.
My.
God.
She could almost hear the screech of metal, smell smoke, feel the jolting impact. She ceased breathing. Ceased thinking. Ceased doing anything except staring at him.
Cool blue eyes, the arresting color of a clear mountain stream, gave her a startling shock. Cheekbones like flint rock. Chiseled chin. Knockout jaw dusted with beard stubble. One corner of his mouth lifted, telegraphing her a gorgeous lopsided grin. Slowly, he winked as if they shared an intimate secret.
And for that sweet second, no one else on earth existed.

#Review ~ Cowboy, It's Cold Outside By Lori Wilde @loriwilde

There is just nothing like a Lori Wilde Christmas story. I love all her books but her Christmas books just add that extra special feeling in your heart. Cowboy, It's Cold Outside is no exception. I was engrossed in this story from the first page all the way to end.

Paige MacGregor has not had an easy life lately. She is a strong independent lady that is trying her best to deal with life. She loves her grandmother and spends as much time with her that she can. Her Grandmother has health issues but Paige is so good with her.

Cash Colton has made a name for himself in the country music world. All is going well until his girlfriend leaves him for his best friend, and the band breaks up. This guy's life has all the makings of a country song. It's just too bad he is living it instead of singing about it.  He's down on his luck and just needs some down-home time with some kind people to figure out life again. Cash is in town to help out his good friend Emma and put on a Christmas show for charity.

I think one of my very favorite scenes is the first meeting between Paige and Cash. I laughed out loud at these two. There is that instant attraction that Paige is fighting for all she is worth, Cash doesn't want to reveal who he is yet, and Page is a stickler for the rules.

I really enjoyed watching these two get to know each other. Like I said the attraction is incredibly strong. Cash thinks he just may have found the magic again to write songs. Paige is busy working all those jobs to pay the bills and spending time with her grandmother. I think Cash tips the scales in his favor when he does something very very special for Paige's grandmother. This guy has a heart of gold, is sweet as can be and hot oh so hot! Who wouldn't fall for this incredibly handsome cowboy?

Neither one is looking for a happily ever after but they just may have found it. It's not going to be easy though and they have a whole lot to get through if they are going to make it to their happily ever after.

If you enjoy a great Christmas story, a small town romance, and just a fabulous read you need to grab up Cowboy, It's Cold Outside right now. It's the perfect story to curl up with on these cold winter nights. This is part of the Twilight, Texas series but it stands just fine on its own. Lori Wilde does a great job of writing these fabulous stories so you don't feel like you are missing anything no matter which book you pick up first. They are all great reads so maybe grab up a couple of these Christmas stories to enjoy this Christmas season.

I was given the opportunity to read this fantabulous book and it has been my great pleasure to share my thoughts with you.

Christmas at Twilight by Lori Wilde ~ Twilight, Texas #6 ~Review ~

Let me start off by saying that this book had three of my favorite things before I ever got to storyline. First of all I really enjoy Lori Wilde's work. She writes a fabulous story and this one is another fine example of her wonderful work. Second, I LOVE Christmas stories and this one is set at Christmas time. Third, I love small town romance series and Christmas at Twilight is part of the Twilight, Texas series. So I was hooked before I ever started to read the book. However, once I started reading I was completely captivated and I could not put this book down!

Jane (Meredith) has been through so much and has so much fear she is dealing with. She will do anything to protect her young son. I love this mother's dedication to her child and what she has done to protect him.

Hutch is injured while he is serving our country. He spends quite a bit of time in the hospital and then is released to go home. He is in for a few surprises! First of all he has a roommate that he didn't know about. He has an adorable niece that is need of time with her uncle. There are a few other things but I sure do not want to spoil the suspense of this story for you. So I'm going to let you read it to find out what all Hutch has to deal with upon his return.

Meredith and Hutch set a few ground rules in order to live together. The biggest is NO TOUCHING EVER! It's not long and they both would like to throw this rule out the door. Hutch still has some major issues to deal with but he's a great guy. I couldn't help but adore this guy. He is so sweet to the kids and they take quickly to Unca Hutch.

Lori Wilde has done a fabulous job with this storyline. She has touched on many issues that made for a interesting and touching read.  It talks about the trauma of soldier who has been wounded and is finally returning home. Mental illness that runs in the family and how that affects the life of the other members of the family. It also touches on spouse abuse and how it affects the person and the children. There is also a lot of drama but I don't want to tell you too much about that. There is few twists and turns that I did not see coming and left me flipping pages to see what was going to happen next. This is a very emotional read but also had some very sweet moments.

This is part of the the Twilight, Texas series, however it is easily read as a stand alone.  I have not had a chance to read all the books in the series yet. I didn't encounter any issues of feeling I was missing anything I needed to know to enjoy the story.

If you enjoy small town romance series books with a lot of drama and suspense included you will love this book. I know I certainly did.

I was given the opportunity to read this book so that I may share my thoughts with you. As always it has been my great pleasure to share my thoughts with you on Christmas at Twilight

#Review - Love of the Game: A Stardust, Texas Novel by Lori Wilde

Love of the Game is the latest release in Lori Wilde's captivating Stardust, Texas series. I think this may be my favorite in the series so far and they have all been incredible stories.

I think one of my favorite thing about this series is the sisters connection. These sisters have all been adopted into the very loving, nourishing, and supportive Carlyle family. They may not be related by blood but their bond and and support of each other could not be strong if they were. Each sister has had horrible experiences prior to their adoption. I love that the caring and loving of wonderful parents has been able to help them grow and bond together.

Kasha Carlyle may have had the worst past yet. I won't tell you the details but I will say the fact that she has been able to over come so much and is such a caring person is amazing and a tribute to how a loving home and family can heal.  I found an instant connection with Kasha. I felt her pain, understood her fears, admired her loyalty, and cheered for her victories. Kasha is not only is dealing with a new job, an attraction to her newest patient, but also has a new half sister that she knew nothing about that now needs her. She's struggling with getting to know her sister and understand the care that she needs.

Axel Richmond has been through a very traumatic loss and suffered an injury that has set him out of the career that has become his everything. He is handsome, charming, and is a sweetheart under that playboy persona. My heart broke for Axel. I felt his pain and shed a few tears for him. I think I may have felt for Axel and formed a stronger bond because I am dealing with a similar loss that Axel has suffered. All Axel thinks he wants is his arm to heal and get back in the game.

When Kasha and Axel meet there is an instant attraction. However they aren't allowed to act on their attraction due to their working relationship. They sure do push each other's buttons and bring things to a simmering boil. I really enjoyed watching these two get to know each other. Their personalities and previous experiences have made them into just the right person that might be able to mend each of their tattered hearts and perhaps find their happily ever after together.

Love of the Game is a spectacular example of Lori Wilde's writing style. She has once again written a story that captivated me from the first page of the book and kept me entertained and intrigued to the very last page. Kasha and Axle's story is sincerely an emotional page turner. I found myself flipping pages quickly to see what was going to happen or be revealed next. It was wonderful to visit the the Carlyle family and to see what had happened since the last book. I know I will be impatiently awaiting the next story in this series to catch up with everyone and see how things are going in Stardust, what the Carlyle family is up to and how the Gunslingers are doing. I also can not wait to see what the mystery trunk will reveal to the next in line Carlyle sister that finds the next magical key.

Love of the Game is the third book in the Stardust, Texas series. I have had the chance to read them all and each one is wonderful. If you haven't had a chance to read the previous two books, it's OK, don't worry, Love of the Game will stand on it's own just fine. While your picking up your copy of Love of the Game you might want to grab Rules of the Game, and Back in the Game. They are marvelous reads too!

I was given the opportunity to read this spectacular story so that I may share my thoughts with you. As always it has been my pleasure to share my thoughts with you on Love of the Game.
