#Review ~ Christmas on Mistletoe Lane By Annie Rains ~ @annierainsbooks @ReadForeverPub @GrandCentralPub

Christmas on Mistletoe Lane: Includes a bonus short story (Sweetwater Springs Book 1) by [Rains, Annie]My Review:

I LOVE Christmas stories! I am devouring just as many as I can and there are some great ones this year. Christmas on Mistletoe Lane by Annie Rains is one of those fabulous stories that I enjoyed so much. This is the first book I have had to the chance to read by Annie Rains but I certainly will not be my last.

Kaitlyn Russo is in desperate need of a new town and a new start. She's a very talented interior designer and maybe the B&B that her grandmother left her is just the place to put those talents to work. She has to convince her co-owner that he needs to stick around and help her gets things started. It's also part of her Grandmother's will that they work together.

Mitch Hargrove left his hometown after a tragedy when he was young. He's returned home to discover he's been left part ownership in the B&B. He wants nothing but to get out of town and get started on his new job. With a little bit of change in his upcoming plans and some encouragement from Kaitlyn, he agrees to stick around and help with the B&B. He also takes on a temporary job to help out his friend in the police department.

I really enjoyed watching these two work together and get to know each other better. The more time they spend together the more their attraction for each other grows and feelings start to develop. Neither one is looking for love and Mitch sure isn't looking to stick around his hometown. There is a lot that these two are going to have to overcome if they are possibly going to find a happily ever after together. There is something from Mitch's past that he has to find a way to handle.

I loved Kaitlyn's ideas for designing the B&B and the theme that she comes up with for each of the guest rooms. Each of the guests that arrive to stay in the newly re-designed rooms are great and certainly add to the storyline. I love small town romance stories because the town can play such a great role in the storyline. I enjoyed meeting the other citizens around town and I can't wait to see what might be next in this new series. I know I will certainly be on the look out for more books by Annie Rains.

I was given the opportunity to read this fabulous Christmas story and it has been my great pleasure to share my thoughts with you.

Christmas on Mistletoe Lane Blurb:

Christmas on Mistletoe Lane: Includes a bonus short story (Sweetwater Springs Book 1) by [Rains, Annie]
This USA Today bestselling author invites you to the delightful small town of Sweetwater Springs where the magic of Christmas brings to strangers together in this "story you won't forget" (RaeAnne Thayne, New York Times bestselling author).

Christmas is coming to the North Carolina mountains, and the air is fresh and crisp and filled with promise. After the devastating loss of her job in the big city, the small town of Sweetwater Springs feels like heaven to Kaitlyn Russo. She's inherited her grandparents' charming (if a little rundown) bed and breakfast, and it's just the new lease on life she needs. Only "heaven" comes with a catch-and a handsome and completely infuriating one at that.

After what he hopes will be a quick trip, Mitch Hargrove wants nothing more than to put his hometown in the rearview mirror. But his plans get derailed when he learns he's now half-owner of the Sweetwater B&B. The fact that he's given only two months to make the inn a success is a huge problem, but it's his pretty-and incredibly headstrong-partner who's the real challenge. With the holiday fast approaching and a grand re-opening looming, will Mitch keep running from the ghosts of Christmas past . . . or will he realize the true gift he's been given?

Includes the bonus short story "Midnight Clear" by Hope Ramsay!
