About FURIOUS FIRE:

The Grimm are coming to an end…the second to last book
He is the love of all her lives…

Grimm’s Circle, Book 8
Thomas Finn, troublemaker, gunslinger, guardian angel…loner. More than a hundred and fifty years ago, he was shot in the back then brought back to life just in time to watch a demon masquerading as his best friend kill the love of his life.
Now, as a Grimm, he satisfies his need for vengeance hunting down demons like the ones that took Rebecca from him. His mission: kill as many as he can, then, when the time comes, go down in a blaze of glory. But with each kill, he comes closer to a line no angel should cross.
Her name was Rebecca. Then it was Tilly. Then Ada. Now, Kallypso. She’s lived so many lives, she can’t even remember when or why it started. All she knows is, she’s always searching for a man with golden eyes that make her burn. And when she finds him—as she always does—she knows that spark of joy means she’s only seconds away from death…again.
This time will be no different…unless something breaks the cycle once and for all.
Warning: Contains the Groundhog Day of star-crossed lovers, a pissed-off guardian angel, a demon-hunter with an axe to grind, and the battle to end all battles. Be warned…there’s pain ahead in this book. Oh, and that HEA finally happens. For these two, anyway.
This will be the second to the last in the Grimm series…make sure you read it…want to see how it all comes down…

Excerpt BLIND DESTINY:

Hot, long showers. He loved them. Plain and simple, loved them.
If the water would hold out, he could just stand in there long enough to clear his mind.
That would be ideal.
Blanking his mind, he braced his hands on the tile wall and dipped his head, letting the water pound on his neck and back, groaning in pleasure.
Need to—
A tingle danced along his flesh. Buzzed through his mind.
Familiar.
Slowly, he lifted his head.
Water dripped off his cheeks, nose and chin, but he didn’t move as he tried to remember the placement, everything in the bathroom. The hotel was worn and rundown, but clean. Nicer than he’d expected, really, considering how the outside had looked.
Somebody had done some updates on recently and they tried to cater to younger couples.
There were mirrors all over the fucking bathroom.
Mirrors.
And as he stood there, the tingling on his flesh grew more intense and in the very back of his mind, he felt a warmth.
Sina used mirrors. The way he used Krell’s eyes, although her ability wasn’t anywhere as keen as his. Whether it was the inanimate object, whether it was because she didn’t practice as much as he did, or what.
Watching me, Snow White?

Review:

I have had the opportunity to read quite a bit of work by Shiloh Walker now. This talented lady writes in many different genres and each time she never seems to amaze me with her talent.

I have not had a chance to read the other books in the Grimm's Circle Series. However I think that Ms. Walker has done a fine job of writing this book so that it can stand on it's own.

I really enjoyed Furious Fire. My goodness there is a lot of drama and action that kept me turning the pages quickly. There are a few surprises that I did not see coming and left me wondering what was going to happen next.

I quickly found myself attached to the characters and enjoyed reading bits and pieces of their past to get to know them.

Kallypso is one of those kick butt characters that I love to read about. This woman can kick butt and take a demon down with no problem at all. I quickly found I liked this girl. She's a feisty personality that is just a tiny bit quirky that made her a lot of fun to get to know.

Thomas Finn is a demon hunter that is trying to keep the world safe. He lost his true love and just hasn't been able to get all his emotions in order since. He has a way of handling a mission that gets the job done. however his current mission might require a little, maybe A LOT  of help. I don't want to tell you too much but I will tell you that there is a whole lot of drama and action. This book kept me on the edge of my seat a lot.

If you are already a fan of the Grimm's Circle Series then you need to grab up this book now! If you enjoy Shiloh Walker's work but have not had a chance to check out this series yet give this one a try.

I am always thrilled when Shiloh Walker has a new release coming out. I love her work and always enjoy her stories. I will be anxiously awaiting her next release.

I was given the opportunity to read this great book so that I may share my thoughts with you. As always it has been my great pleasure to share my thoughts with you on Furious Fire
