#Review ~ The Chesapeake Bride by Mariah Stewart

I LOVE Mariah Stewart books. This talented lady can write a story that has me engrossed from the first page until the end. I could not put this book down.

Cassidy Logan is a smart, sweet lady that isn't looking for a relationship at all. She has just gotten out of one she isn't ready for another man to enter her life. Cassidy is visiting Cannonball island for work. She works for her Dad's company and they are going to build new houses on the island. She has a vision to build new houses but keep the feel of the island. From the description I would love to visit this island and just look around.

Owen Parker is visiting his grandmother and working off the shore of Cannonball island. Owen is a free spirit that likes to go where the wind takes him. He enjoys a new challenge and has done a little bit of everything in his travels. Owen enjoys his carefree life style but he may just find a few reasons to stick around Cannonball island for a little while.

Cassidy and Owen seem to keep ending up in the same places together. There is an attraction  just under the surface and they are both fighting it. There are moments that they certainly don't agree and other moments that they work really well together. I enjoyed watching these two get to know each other. There are many things these two are going to have to work out if they are going to get their chance at happily ever after.

I truly enjoyed my trip to St. Dennis and Cannonball island. It was wonderful to catch up with old friends and see what everyone has been up to since my last visit. Owen's sister Lisbeth, marries her sweetheart in The Chesapeake Bride. It was so nice to see their wedding after reading about Lisbeth and Alec in Driftwood Point. The wedding was beautiful and it was so great to see everyone turn out to celebrate their love.

I adore Ruby and Grace. These two ladies sure do make the series. I would love to sit down to tea with both of them and just sit back and listen to their stories. I'm sure they could keep me entertained for hours.

This is the 11th book in The Chesapeake Diaries series and they are all fabulous. I have loved each and everyone and I can not wait for the next book in this series. I'm sure Mariah Stewart has another fabulous story planned for us lucky readers.

I was given the opportunity to read this fabulous story and it has been my great pleasure to share my thoughts with you.
