Getting Her Money's Worth by Annette Mardis ~ Review ~

I knew going into Getting Her Money's Worth that it probably would not have a completely happy ending and would be a emotional story. What I did not expect was the humorous moments I found as well. I really enjoyed reading this touching story about friendship, love, and living life to the fullest.

Allie Charles faces a lot of tough situations in her life. She loses some one very dear to her. It's a very trying time for her but the toughest obstacles she has to face is the Big C Word. She fights with all her might and believes and living life to the fullest.

Shelby Martin hasn't always had the easiest life either. She and Allie form a strong bond over softball. These two women have some wonderful fun, adventurous times together. The story of their friendship is a great entertaining read that I truly enjoyed.

I really enjoyed Annette Mardis style of writing. I found she had a nice flow that kept me completely entertained all the way through. She has written a very nice mix of laughter and tears to keep the story balanced out. I had not had a chance to read any work by Ms. Mardis before now I certainly would enjoy reading more of her work.

If you are looking for an emotional read that does a great job of reminding us to look at the best in life, I really think you should give Getting Her Money's Worth a chance. I know I certainly enjoyed it and I hope you will too.

I was given the opportunity to read this book so I may share my thoughts with you. As always it has been my pleasure to share my thoughts on this great story with you.
