Grit
Fangs and Fists 2
By Kate Hill
Interview with Kate Hill:
Crystal: Today I have the pleasure of hosting Kate Hill. Welcome Kate! I'm so excited that you are here! Would you share a little bit about yourself with us today?
Kate: I’m glad to. I’m a vegetarian New Englander who loves romance, horror, animals and exercise. I’ve been writing for over twenty-five years. Most of my published stories are romance.
Crystal: What are you currently working on?
Kate: Right now I’m working on the third story in the Fangs and Fists series. This one is called Victor and focuses on the Alpha wolf who “killed” Grit in the first story in the series.
Crystal: Where did you come up with the idea for either your current release or your current WIP?
Kate: My latest release and my WIP are part of the Fangs and Fists series. I came up with the idea because I wanted to write a story that included many different paranormal creatures. I also wanted to combine werewolves and gladiators.
Crystal: Do you have a favorite snack that like to munch on while writing? If so would you mind sharing what it is with us?
Kate: I don’t like to eat while I’m writing because it distracts me. When I take a break, I love to eat fruit, yogurt, and dark chocolate.
Crystal: Do you have a favorite scene you would like to share with us?
Kate: My favorite scene in my new release is when Grit meets Haylen, the demon who revived him, in the demolished church. Haylen is a secondary character, but he’s important to the story and has ties to several characters. He’s a shades of gray character and I loved writing him, especially his interactions with Grit and another secondary character, Maddy.
Crystal:When you are not busy writing wonderful stories to keep us lucky readers entertained, what do you like to do? Do you have a hobby?
Kate: I love to read, work out and watch horror movies. I’m a huge fan of horror and the paranormal.
Crystal: Do you have a favorite background noise you like to having going while you write (TV, Music, kids playing)?
Kate: When I’m writing the first draft of a story, I love to listen to music. If I’m proof reading or working on edits, though, I prefer quiet.
Crystal: Thanks for visiting. It has been a pleasure having you visit today. Can you think of anything else you would like to share with us today?
Kate: Thank you for having me as a guest. I love to connect with readers and writers. My blogs and social media links can be found at http://www.kate-hill.com.

BLURB:
Werewolf gladiator Grit faced his own mortality in the arena, only to be resurrected by a demon. Grit now lives a shadowy existence as one of the soulless, remembering only bits and pieces of his former life. Nonetheless, he recognizes evil and knows he must fight for the future of his young son, as well as the rest of the world.
Zari, a vampire warrior, helped Grit escape the tower where he had been imprisoned. She had feelings for Grit when they'd first met, but at the time he had been mated to another wolf. Now that he's on his own, they're free to explore their feelings as they fight side by side as part of the rebellion against the demons. In the midst of war, their love grows, but danger is everywhere.
Haylen, the demon who resurrected Grit, offers a bargain that may save or destroy the rebellion. Whatever the outcome, Zari and Grit intend to face it together and explore the once forbidden passion between them.
