Mystery at Manatee Key
Bella and Britt Beach Series Book 3
Review:
Mystery at Manatee Key is a well written mystery for young readers. The suggested age range on this is 7-10 years old. I think that is probably about right but a little younger may enjoy this story as well.
Best friends Bella and Britt have no idea what they are getting into when they find a young Manatee. They are about to have one really big mystery with danger and suspense. When Bella is grabbed up by the Manatee kidnappers Britt is left trying to figure out a way to save her best friend.
I don't want to tell you too much about the story line because it will spoil the story for you. There is mystery and a bit of drama so I think it's going to keep your young reader interested. I really enjoyed watching Britt put a plan together to get into the cabin where her friend is being held. This young girl comes up with a unique plan that is going to show young children that if they find themselves in a dangerous situation that they just might be able to do something about it. I hope it will also show young children the dangers that are out there and remind them to pay attention to everything around them.
The illustrations are pretty, colorful, and certainly eye catching . They kept my attention so I think your young reader is going to be engrossed not only in the great story line but they will enjoy the beautiful illustrations as well.
I was given the opportunity to read this incredible children's story and it has been my pleasure to share my thoughts with you.
