I was anxious to read Pretty Little World to see how these three families were going to come together and make things work as one.
Celia and Mark are in need of more space for their family. They are planning to sell their house and move to another neighborhood. Their friends and fellow neighbors don't want them to go. Who knew the answer to their problem would come in form of a broken pipe and a whole in the wall. The three families work together to form one HUGE house inside their walls. They take care of each other, help with the cooking, the cleaning, and the kids. It's a prefect idea.
Hope and Leo have been working towards another baby. It's just not working though. Hope is sweet, kind, caring, and the perfect one to take care of the kids during the day. Leo likes to cook and does the majority of cooking.
Chris and Stephanie are the third couple in the household. Stephanie is an organizer by profession. She helps people organize their lives and downsize when needed. Chris is busy searching for a new job.
There is a LOT going on within the walls and outside those walls though. This book was a page turner because life isn't easy for any of them. They face sickness, cheating, unemployment, a serious illness, and a whole neighborhood that doesn't know what is going on behind those closed doors. I found myself flipping pages quickly to see what dilemma they were going to face next and what could happen if someone found out about their "family" living. Would they accept it or think it was strange?
Pretty Little World was a very enjoyable read. I loved the idea of the families all working together to raise their children and handle all the house hold chores. They all work really well together. There is always someone around to help out or to step up when in need.
Overall this was a captivating story that these two authors have put together that kept me entertained though out the whole book. I do wonder if there is any chance of a follow up book later on so we can see for sure how everything works out.
I was given the opportunity to read this interesting story and it has been my pleasure to share my thoughts with you.
